A couple things I'd like to say about this machine. It's great on short runs but don't waste your time getting a 100 foot hose. You just cant get it to go that far into a drain. I begin to have trouble moving forward at about 40 to 50 feet in.
Thanks for the video. I haven't seen many on this subject.
How well does this thing make it around a 90 degree bend? Let's say with a 1 1/2" ID Pipe. My stack pipe for my washing machine drain tends to plug up frequently and this seems to be my best alternative to using a sewer snake as it should actually get the drain clean rather than just punching a hole through the blockage. I just don't want to invest in one of these unless I'm going to be able to use it. Thanks!
@nylox2004 I've actually only used this machine on about 3 clogs myself. The first was on a drain just like you're describing. I had already rented a sewer snake once and the drain had clogged back up in only a few weeks on a kitchen sink. The next option was to have a jet truck come out to the house. Once I found out what the cost of that would be I knew I had to try it. It worked great and its been over a year now with no further problems.
I have found that it does no good to have a jetter hose longer than 50 feet. Because this system simply will not pull the hose into the drain further than that and you cant get it in further by hand either.
