IV's dont hurt..its just a little poke and its over...but the plastic tube does get sorta annoying...

Guys, I am not afraid the shots and does not hurt the IV at all. I remember what happened to me that I have a stomach pains and I went to hospital. I have to take MRI scans on my stomach and the doctor says the scans is okay and I don't have go to surgery.

@lifesaver173 a little bit its like a little pinch for 1 second and after that it doesnt hurt! if you have the numbing cream it does help but you will still be able to feel it because it numbs the skin not the fleshbut it doesnt hurt

My man had tubes put in his ears 3 times before he was 3 and at 3 years old his Mother made sure he had his adenoids removed due to a habit he had since he was a baby of breathing through his mouth as he slept, he also was a later talker well hes 30 years old in August & my man still breathes through his mouth, he just got used to it. . Son is 4 years old next month a later talker, he talks a fair bitz but his speech is not the best but its getting better

2nd daughter, used to get alot of throat infections bad runny noses, where I had to suction hout her nasal passages again after I suctioned them out a few minutes prior so she could breath more comfortable so she could fall asleep 7 not cry, she used to breath through her mouth, outgrew the habit and has always sucked her thumb, shes almost 2 years old and only sucks her thumb as she sleeps and snuggles a blankie or bear 2 cute, love that thumb sucking sleep comfort habit!

I was pretty sick as a kid, and I went to Riley. I don't remember much, but my mom said that they took good care of me. They must've did because I'm now nineteen and I'm very healthy to this day :)

The equipment they use for blood pressure does work electronically. Sometimes it's one similar to one in the doctor's office. It makes a different noise.

It is another word for "Outpatient surgery." One example of these type of surgery is tonsillectomy. A kid goes in the hospital in the morning, have their surgery, then in a few hours they go home!
