Why is this show so god damn awesome.

I haven't started collecting for the genesis yet, but this is definitely a must have its too bad everybody remembers treasure for only radiant silvergun since treasure has other memorable titles. Obviously I've seen enough of this game to know it is going to be a pick up for me. For me its always original cart or nothing at all.

Great review both of you! You definitely nailed this game, and made a really strong case for trying it out. I never knew about the shmup level. Treasure certainly were on form for this game...and pretty much every one after it.

Seven Force, FTW. That's all I have to say. Oh, and have you guys heard of Alien Soldier? It's basically a more "Hardcore" version Gunstar Heroes that only made it into Japanese (and maybe Europe), but it's mainly a boss rush game. Sadly, Alien Soldier doesn't support passwords for the Hard mode, which is where a lot of the challenge in the game comes from.

A great video, but your female narrator sounded like she was reading from a script at the start of the review. Just a small gripe, but she didn't sound quite right..... Otherwise, the usual high production values and great video quality. Well done!

@MrVengeance83 Daeruna's still new at this; it's only the second video she's ever done. We both read from the same script, as it turns out! It was also a pretty late night; the blooper reel is pretty funny =P

@gmintyfresh It's one of those games that I always looked at for Bullet Heaven since the beginning. In fact, Gunstar Heroes was one of the reasons for the shift in subject matter!
