At least with this version you can kind of tell what song it is (not the DEICIDE version though). Doesn't sound like the VENOM I remember but I guess the name carries on. VIVA ACID QUEEN!

@ColonelFuckwadd I disagree. Even though the original one by Deep Purple is to me a lot better (of course), this cover is full of energy, and that's for sure one of the main goals of that song. So in my opinion, this cover is successfully done. But that's only my opinion and you have the right to think another way.

Well all of the other songs on disc 2 of "Kissing The Beast" are live, so I assumed this was a live version of the song too.

@Patoallas -- No, it was definately live.  It just doens't sound that way, because they butchered it so bad, no one would cheer for them. Hence, no crowd noise..

@rovibe I think they took the recording straight from the sound desk. In the studio they filtered out the crowd noise from the mic's. Pretty good final result for a live recording, and a kick ass song, too. =)

@UTGoat666 dont think its live. listen at like 1:16 when he sings about new orleans... before he's done with the line the next "cause im a speed king" line starts.

more glaringly though, you can tell there are at least two if not three or four guitars overdubbed at certain points, and venom have only one guitarist.
