actually the reason the 2nd iron trapdoor is late is because the repeater delays the signal and the torches add a 0.0001/1 sec

Not to be a smart ass but to tell you guys he accidently said at 05:46 "when you apply power at that torch it applies power to that torch" that isn't exactly correct... what happens is that the second torch is powering the block that the top torch is on so that the top torch is turned off... so when the bottom torch is turned off the top torch is no longer being kept off.

To the people saying he can just use repeaters, it doesn't work for some reason. Don't ask me why, but setting a powered repeater into a block that has a trapdoor attached to it won't change the state of the trapdoor. You can do the whole thing underground with redstone torches though.

why not simply use repeaters on the same lever and put repeats at the end of the redstone so you give up a 1 tick delay for all level or like mine all hidden under lava for 2 ticks or 4 games ticks.... owell both get the job done

There are much easier, more compact ways to wire this, also you can just use stickey pistons instead of getting a mod

@1wsx10 No, it shouldn't. I would use sticky pistons to do that, most people would, but this brings a new innovative substitute that has its own purposes such as using in obstacles, or just for the sheer novelty. i think its kinda cool.

but it could be done more easy...

you dig 1 down were u digged out 4 deep, then make red stone wire in it. place blocks on top (directly above the redstone wire) and it wont connect to the other sides, it will power the block in front of it, so make it 1 back of the one u want to power and then use another torch on the block on the other side... ;)

@tydude001 You probably copied everything and put it in the minecraft.jar. So go into that. Find the WorldEdit.jar inside on minecraft.jar and put it in the minecraft bin file. ( which is where you find the minecraft.jar ) Then in game you can get a wooden axe. Use the mouse left and right clicks to set position one and two. Type //set (item id goes here) and there you go.

this is kinda dangerous, and its not like it would keep people out, like some things where if you know what to do you can get across but if you dont know then you fail, like you should make it so you need to press a button about halfway through on the wall or else it just stops and puts you in the lava. Also make this with pistons

Quick Single Player Commands tip, to set a key for a command, like say fly to v, type bind v fly you can also set parameters, for example bind v fly 5 would set fly speed 5 to the v key. I also recomend that you set the jump command to a key, it's really useful! Message me for more help. :D
