Mythic aren't really the ones responsible, though. It was EA who rushed the game and then fired most of the staff and restricted their budget. Paul was probably just trying to cover it up.
Some epic moments I get to keep as memories though. Fun while it lasted.
What the fuck is wrong with the people in the comment section of this video? The class balance in this game has been much better than in any other MMO I've played since day 1. My main is a marauder and i've got alts of each other career as well, and they really are all competetive in RvR.
And I think Mythic have done a great job and are one of the few companies that actually listen to their players. There are only a few things in WAR that need fixing really imo.

Same story with the next "big thing". Just play the game, have fun, and don't take things too seriously.
Bright Wizard balancing? Failed so far. But I love the game and have tons of fun playing it, even though my Witch Elf toon is nerfed into the ground. The WAR rvr experience owns all, whether I'm underdog or not.
i can assure you if they take randomly 6 players from any of the two realms that are actually mature and love the game they would actually balance it within the next pach.

(btw I've played a Shadow Warrior since beta, it ain't to bad, most of my comment/suggestions in terms of problems are normally fixed within a patch (abilities not working etc etc, graphics bugging at this point etc) So yer, balance in a team game where rarely things are equal is a tricky thing to judge. That's only because they are the only mpds Destro has that is good from 1-80. When you pick a mpds class from all of them in Destro only the Choppa stands out as a competitive class that people enjoy playing. Witch Elves were neutered and Marauder were never quite there.

honestly im tired of paying attention to people who ruin my game experience before i even start playing... every class i wanted to play is "underpowered! we're becoming backup healers!" or "omg we cant even do anything close to the awesomeness of our mirror, the engineer!" ill just roll those classes, than decide for myself wether they are underpowered or not...
Well I have more to add about the devs and their "Structured" classes and their skills, WHY on earth are AoE attacks doing just as much if not more damage to multiple players than their Single target skills. AoE isn't supposed to be spammed on single target, I KNOW people use their AoE attack more than the single target attacks when they deal just as much damage and can most of the time cost less AP than the single target cast, This is another thing thats been in since day one.
Truely It's not the fact that classes are OP anymore, more of the fact that the Devs are allowing classes such and certain RDPS classes being able to LOS exploit and aoe through walls, and even through the floor, It should not take more than a few hours to fix a MAJOR flaw like this. Tying to sqeeze through a Fortress door when 10+ Brightwizards and Sorcs can stack their AoE at the door when it was down and killing most if not all players who run through the door in less than seconds
Um to Pwnage PC yea Darkfall is a great game ppl running around naked so they dont lose there stuff, crap feel and so on. Now Mythic must fix BW/Sorcs. Maybe make there aoe have a stacking effect if u stand in it u will begin to take much more damage at the same time increase area effect a little so it not a waste. This would make team work and snares/roots more important and there would be less aoe spam beause if they arent snared they will get away with much less damage.
