I knew it, i was born there..in Molave Street Tondo.
Despite the poverty and the way people are living on top of one another... it doesn't seem a miserable or threatening kind of place... perhaps I am being rash, but I would feel more at ease here than in many poor places in the UK. Maybe the philppino people are just intrinsically nicer! I hope that greater happiness comes for it is obviously deserved.
The Philippines is either urban decay or rural decay.
This is a great video thanks for sharing! It is so interesting to see how people live in the Philippines. I am going to Manila this summer for 2 months and I hope I will get to experience these people.
It isnt that they are lazy.. the problem is there really is hardly anything to do jobwise... offcourse its very easy to open our mouth sitting here in the comfort of our homes... playing on our computers.
I remember nung maliit pa ako, 5 year old pa lang nagtutulak na ako ng karton tinda kami ng mais umulam bumagyo sige parin. I proud of my nanay she taught me to be strong stand on my own. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ!
its just so nice to see TONDO, laki ako sa Tondo. Atleast ang mga tao contented naghahanap din ng trabaho di katulad dito sa US maraming palamunin ang gobyerno, tayong mga pilipino nagbabanat ng buto kahit anong trabaho we know the word ACCEPTANCE! Mabuhay tayong mga PILIPINO!
is the place close to balintawak st? sorry but people there lil lazy? i dont know looks they dont want to work fairly? but in fairness, they look happy.

Wow what an amazing place. The people look very friendly considering they are poor. Everything looks very clean and organised, there must be a strong sense of community around. Top notch.
Yes, philippinos are very friendly. I have a large number of relatives in the philippines and the neighbors are all friendly even if they speak little english and I little cebuano or tagalog. Compared to here, I'd rather live there just because the people are friendlier.
Saan ka punta sa bahay mo oh sa sm?
