Well well well! There was I, with a random thought of an old gem that I aint heard for almost 20 years!...I search it and RJJNY comes up trumps again ;-) Great work as ever.
Would have loved to see that. I used to buy my records at scratch records all the time. There and Moving records in East Orange. This isn't the mix I played though.
Good Memories. I battled the producer of this track back in the early 90's in a DJ contest @ Scratch records in Irvington NJ. Needless to say, I lost when he mixed Chip E's "Like This" backwards. You would never believe how this little guy(Johnny D) back then, made such a great track.
OMG! One of my all time favorites. I went nuts for this when I first heard it at the original SOUND FACTORY at 3 ish in the morning back in 90. The place was in such a trance. The bass that was booming from the speakers from this song was a beast.from the deep bowels of House and the acid drops they added was uncanny. Sigh! I experienced pure ecstasy from this song without the aid of drugs. The memory almost brings tears to my eyes. Very good times indeed. TY for this.
