@Silentstrike111 The water was recently updated, on high settings it looks amazing. You have to remember WoW is pretty old now so their graphics are still old looking. They'll hopefully make things look better in the future.

It's pretty obvious: they're the only ones who don't have blue,green,rotting or furry skin, their cities are way over the top with huge magic structures and lots of decoration like aliance cities and they diss averyone in the horde. They even have a joke that says "we're allied with the TAUREN now?!? Perfect! We'll be eating stake three times a week."
what makes things worst is that they were kicked out of the alliance and almost wiped out by humans through execution cuz the humans wanted the elves to be massacred by undead at dalaran but lived by the help of the naga which angered the humans for the reason of still being alive

Lament of the Highborne is actually a modified version of another song that Lady Sylvanas used to sing with her sisters ( Alleria+ and Vereesa) and with her brother (Lirath*)
Instead of "Sin'dorei" It was "Quel'dorei", or even before that, singing "Kaldorei" a tribute to those lost in the War of the Ancients.
I'm not a hardcore WoW player.. infact I know very little lore behind much of the game othe than races, languages, and basic understanding of factions and how or what is going on an why. But listening to this and the song ' Invincible' just makes me want to understand more. Playing on a private server offers little to no justification to the depth of the whole game.... I am stricken with sadness by the state the Blood Elves are left in and ... make me want to fight along side them more...

The history of the High/Blood Elves is very epic. They went through so much and were willing to do the most inconcievable things to have a home of their own and live in peace. Out of all the WarCraft races, I think they suffered the most.

There are only two parts of this video I do not understand.
1) Why was the Sunwell in the middle of Eversong? O.o I know it was outside before it got corrupted, but it was on Quel'danas and like, in the city area.
2) Kael went to Outland through Dalaran. He didn't use the Dark Portal.
@Stargeek2006 What makes you think that was Eversong? Quel'Danas looks identical to Eversong...though honestly it -should- be in Eversong...I don't remember Arthas having to cross a sea to get to it, nor its destruction blowing up enough of it to turn that much of Eversong into one.
@tremedar Yes, but the Sunwell was actually IN the city, not the forest like it's shown in this. In WC3 it was IN the city, and in WoW the corrupted Sunwell was in a big building (Probably built over it). But in this it's just like, randomly in the forest somewhere...

@TheSolx cairne duelled with garrosh...but magatha grimtotem poisonde the garrosh weapons without garrosh knowing that and when he hit cairne pthe poison paralyzed him and then there was nothing Cairne could do to avoid the death blow by garrosh...

I just didnt have much room to type, but you put it in a great way :) When Kael and Vashj saw illidan get pwned by arthas in icecrown he betrayed Illidan and followed Kiljaeden, so he went to the sunwell to summon Kiljaeden and prove himself. Yes a while after back with Illidan he got impatient and startd harvesting powers in secret. Thats when he started going insane in Tempest keep. I like to think of Kael as a celebrity. They were all good at one point. ;)
This is the third version of the song. The original version was written after the War of the Ancients, and basically the only difference was they said kaldorei (night elves) instead of sin'dorei (blood elves). Then the high elves rewrote it after the Troll Wars to say Quel'dorei (high elves), and after the Scourge attacked we got this version.
that would have been Sylvanas's Music Box which requires beating up the Lich King in 25 man heroic mode >.< there's some other items you can get instead of that as well
actually, a player equipped with Shadowmourne who defeats the Lich King in 25 man mode all while being on the last part of the Shadowmourne quest will receive the chest. I was lucky and received the Crimson Deathcharger from a guildie. :)

His name is Zul'jin he is/was the leader of the amani trolls that where part of the horde during the second war, but he was captured by the alliance near the end of the war, he cut his own arm off to escape death. he is also the final boss in zul'aman, he was pissed of at the high elves (now blood elves) because they joined the horde
Kael'thas found that the outland was the only way to survive and the only allies he could find were Lady vashj, Akama and Illidan as he was also unwanted on azeroth so once again he got betray and got addicted to arcane magic. and turned evil and corrupt due to power. The demonic priestess Delrissa found him and he was ressurected to follow Kil'jaeden. They renamed themselves and got their eyes tainted by fel magic. The most addicting thing in azeorth. They were accepted to the horde

@tremedar Yes, but the Sunwell was actually IN the city, not the forest like it's shown in this. In WC3 it was IN the city, and in WoW the corrupted Sunwell was in a big building (Probably built over it). But in this it's just like, randomly in the forest somewhere...
And maybe he crossed it like, between loading screens or something, idk O.o I was confused about that too.

@TheSolx cairne duelled with garrosh...but magatha grimtotem poisonde the garrosh weapons without garrosh knowing that and when he hit cairne pthe poison paralyzed him and then there was nothing Cairne could do to avoid the death blow by garrosh...

@samnthafaithshaylin when Kael's was in outland looking for another source of arcane magic he was harvisting it and he got greedy for power,which is why the blood elves stopped trusting kael's,of course that's what the quest's led me to believe.

@blake92punk that is what happened, its just that not ALL of the blood elves stopped following when he wasa in Tempest Keep, thats why you see blood elves there. When Kael found out that Illidan was a joke (kiljaeden warned illidan to melt the frozen throne or feel the power of his wrath. so they went hiding from kiljaeden but kiljaeden found them but gave another chance, they went to icecrown but illidan got pwned by arthas) he joined kiljaeden. just go and buy warcaft3 or look it up on wowiki.

Kael'Thas himself he had "a taste of true power" and wanted it all, wich is the reason why he sided with Kil'Jaeden and come back to destroy the remains of the sunwell to summon his master.
Up to the Illidan\Naga alliance, yes, he was seeking a way to save his people,afterwards he just become power thirsty and crazy
The politcal consequences of this also are awful for the belves.

I just didnt have much room to type, but you put it in a great way :) When Kael and Vashj saw illidan get pwned by arthas in icecrown he betrayed Illidan and followed Kiljaeden, so he went to the sunwell to summon Kiljaeden and prove himself. Yes a while after back with Illidan he got impatient and startd harvesting powers in secret. Thats when he started going insane in Tempest keep. I like to think of Kael as a celebrity. They were all good at one point. ;)

This is the third version of the song. The original version was written after the War of the Ancients, and basically the only difference was they said kaldorei (night elves) instead of sin'dorei (blood elves). Then the high elves rewrote it after the Troll Wars to say Quel'dorei (high elves), and after the Scourge attacked we got this version.

actually, a player equipped with Shadowmourne who defeats the Lich King in 25 man mode all while being on the last part of the Shadowmourne quest will receive the chest. I was lucky and received the Crimson Deathcharger from a guildie. :)

@TheSolx ehh man ive got some really bad news for you :P i have beta wow cataclysm and when u start a tauren the intro movie alrdy says that garrosh had a duel with him and then cairne died.. and baine took over control and then the grimtotem tauren attacks but he defended tb and then ur up to play in the world.. and ive heard that cairne got poisoned or whatever so garrosh killed him or not idk still need to look that up :P BUT RIP Cairne man that dude was the shit ive always hated baine...

@hostage101 While the humans are far from innocent, you can't say they made the Orc attack Azeroth. The Orc, while mislead, are the ones who destroyed the Draeni when all they wanted was peace. Then the Orc attacked the humans to fill their bloodlust. The Humans and the rest of the Alliance are guilty of many bad things, but the Horde are not innocent bystanders in the coming war. Thrall was for peace, but SO was Jaina Proudmore. Much like FOX News, your views are one sided.

Oh wait i forgot a fact, that Furion will return! Cataclysm is going to be great for the alliance, Furion comes, they get Worgens, they get Night Elf mages, Human hunters, and their enemys got a psychotic leader! I may change to the Alliance :D

His name is Zul'jin he is/was the leader of the amani trolls that where part of the horde during the second war, but he was captured by the alliance near the end of the war, he cut his own arm off to escape death. he is also the final boss in zul'aman, he was pissed of at the high elves (now blood elves) because they joined the horde

Kael'thas found that the outland was the only way to survive and the only allies he could find were Lady vashj, Akama and Illidan as he was also unwanted on azeroth so once again he got betray and got addicted to arcane magic. and turned evil and corrupt due to power. The demonic priestess Delrissa found him and he was ressurected to follow Kil'jaeden. They renamed themselves and got their eyes tainted by fel magic. The most addicting thing in azeorth. They were accepted to the horde
