  • It's one thing to memorize the lyrics and a whole other thing to know what they mean and why they were written. I LOVE this song.

  • Ok any more mention of the arguing will result in deleted comment, comment on the video, or don't comment at all.

  • i think most of you should be ashamed for arguing about whats good or not on this awesome lyric video. what would the band say if they saw this? they wouldn't want to create music if it was going to cause this much fighting... so keep your traps shut.

  • @9876543421hello I don't think it's wise if you put words or actions in the bands mouth...

  • @Christianrocker1990 tbh... who wants fighting and bickering... and i bet the band feel the same aswell... especialy as its music to be enjoyed rather than a point for mindless arguing...

  • As a person who finds religion distasteful I find it moronic that people would actually argue weather or music is better or not because of it. Shut the fuck up. Listen to the music.

  • Zajebista

  • I just like the video,lol...not sure why people would want to start a arguement over music...hell my favorite genre is Black Metal,Heavy Metal,Speed Metal and Industrial Metal.Guy's are fuckin crazy.LOL.Remind's me of FaceBook.LOL.

  • Fuck YeeeeeAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaH !

  • This song's lyrics sound like they're very anti-Christian.

  • @atheistram depends on how you look at it really.

  • @atheistram Who gives a shit? its what you make of it.

  • I just like music, and I am a fan of black metal and this band kick's fuckin ass =)

  • @kirky197 Kool story bro... I had to make fun of you to prevent a christian battle by telling that christian kid that christ was an alien for shits and giggles.

  • I like that this band doesn't just sing "Worship God" or "God is great", they give their songs different meanings :). Either religious based or living with life based.

  • go from 0:00 to 5:07

  • SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE AWESOME MUSIC

  • These guys love Jesus. :)

  • listining to this while watching a nature video.... O.o

  • Anyone else notice there isn't 5:06?

  • i hope the neighbors like this song...imean REALLY like this song

  • they sung this song at heavenfest in colorado it was awesome

  • there good thats for sure that not afraid of pple judging them both parties of riligios can like non believers can say there not cool or real scremo if thier crhistain or christains though ususally not judgemental but can be can say this isnt christain its satians music because not everyone understands this kind of music but i for one love it so then where would they have to turn god yes but in sociallity of humans no particualler groud so they are brave i commense them for that, GO RED

  • 6 people don't like this song.

  • @Kotorious14 you don't say?

  • this band is awesome :D

  • I can't believe I've never heard of them!!!! What a wonderful mix of music :D

Like BREAKING BENJAMIN + TOKIO HOTEL, amirite???

  • For some reason the name of this song scares me : (. Great music tho

  • @sappiredark It reminds me of how satan is trying to keep us asleep and the Spirit and screaming to wake up. Don't keep feeding the machine-satan. Satan says-give up give up, Spirit says, wake up wake up! Quit following satan's ploys and scams and tricks! stop being his robots. Choose God and free will! Stand for God!

  • @djallen60 I'd say most christian are the ones brainwashed, but... I tolerate your opinion

  • @djallen60 I disagree. god tell us to follow him, if Satan is meant to oppose god, then the right thing for him to do is tell people "don't follow god, follow yourself". If Satan wants people to follow him instead of god, then how's he different? Satan actaully wants people to free from god, just like he did. That's actual free will.

  • @comendadormadison God does not want a forced relationship with Him. That is why He gives us free will. What does it mean to have a very close relationship with someone, but only because you give them no other choice? You might as well not have a relationship with them at all.

  • @TheSwordsEcho So either believe and be saved or don't believe and burn for eternity. Not much of a choice is it??

  • @atheistram is it still not a choice? enjoy this life for what it is or suffer like Christ did and live eternally. i'd take a lifetime of suffering for eternal life in heaven with God than having a lifetime of doing what i wanted to do to end up in a place that is not so pleasant. we make our choice. God does not make it for us.

  • @TheSwordsEcho Word.

  • hey there are good things about pointless youtube comments. The guy that made the video can brag about how many comments he got on this lyric video for an AWESOME band.

  • @lizurdman2828 I could but I'm not that type of person, except to my friends >:D

  • This song is the DEFINITION of AWESOMENESS!

  • OH GOD I CANT PAUSE!!!" I CLICK PAUSE BUT IT AINT DOING ANYTHING!"

  • Red kicks disturbed out the window!

  • The second guy on the left looks like Jimmy Sullivan with Craig Mabbitts hair.. (Sorry I don't know names, my friend recommended this band to me, they're pretty good :D)

  • i agree with superbeastboy

  • Best Band EVER

  • 5 people of as now are extreme butt knogglers

  • GIVE ME A PARADISE YEAH!

  • question! why does this awesome song end?

  • RED need's more view's...I went to their concert in Mt Pleasant MI On Sept 2 2o11 and barely anyone cheered i was so angry, more people need to actually listen to these song's not just judge them on their look's or the beginning of the song, i made that mistake, and i REGRET it, Look at me now i have a youtube page dedicated to them! I am like their 1# Fan :D God Bless you RED

  • @Randomvideohaha so do i

  • Can't we just enjoy the music?

  • Who gives a shit whether these guys are Christian's, Jew's or believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster... their music kicks ass... sit back and enjoy.

  • @nikebee OMG THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER????? I THOUGHT i WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO BELIEVED IN HIM!!! :D ROFLMFAO

  • @nikebee LOL Flying Spaghetti Monster. Good one

  • @nikebee could not freaking agree more.

  • @nikebee well,didn't that COMMENT KICK ASS!

  • @nikebee Hwaaat!? Somebody's being mature about religion? IS THIS STILL YOUTUBE???

  • @nikebee Don't mock Flying Spaghetti Monster believers ;O

  • @Faithlisz lawlz.

  • My boyfriend got me hooked on Red<3

Gotta love them & the message they send out.(:

  • atheists: why are you trying to get us Christians to stop believing?

Christians: tread carefully, trying to hard in an argument with an atheist can have the same result as punching a brick wall...i know that i have tried so hard to make new believers, but it ends up making me question myself sometimes, just don't give in and stay strong, you're above this fallen world and above the "trends" you have the strength to represent

  • @jediassassin79 I'm atheist. I say people should believe what they believe, and respect all others, no matter what their belief be.

Don't group all people in one category, such as "atheists" and "christians". Not all people whom are atheist, try to get Christians to stop believing.

Just as well, not every Christian is exactly the same.

Everyone is different, and each thinks his/her own way, and we should all understand and respect that.

  • @NaruAMV1 i understand where you're coming from...but i'm talking to atheists that start raging at the first hint of a Christian on a Christian song...i didn't really mean to categorize people, i just meant to stand up and say something

  • I love this band! but skillets will always be my fav(: srry red

  • Why does the fact this is a Christian band start arguments about the existence of God? I don't believe in him nor any other religious faith. Doesn't mean they don't exist. Red, along with many other Christian bands have loads of talent, however I don't believe they'd like you starting debates about their faith on their video. Keep your negative comments to yourself and just enjoy this bad ass tune.

  • I don't believe god exists because humans have a convenient way of making up explanations for things unknown just like they said the earth was flat.If a deity of unfathomable knowledge and power could just happen or just exist then why not take it a step back and consider that perhaps a Universe of unfathomable beauty and complexity just happened?

  • @xXEchoWolfXx We're not starting a holy war here, any replies to this will be deleted.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Why wouldn't you just delete his comment if you dont want people replying to it.....?

  • @PessimisticMonday Because he's still entitled to his opinion, I just don't want a holy war thread unfolding.

  • @PessimisticMonday Because he's still entitled to his opinion, I just don't want a holy war thread unfolding.

  • @Christianrocker1990 well if hes entitled to his opinion then so are we sorry but there was so much wrong with ur statement

  • @imthedeadlycracka I never said you weren't I said I don't want a debate of whether God exists or not on this facebook video. Take it to a message board.

  • @Christianrocker1990 lol ik i dont want to read them either but i was just letting u know how it may have sounded to other people

  • best song evar.

  • God is real to me :) But just stop taking this far and listen to this amazing music cause he is trying to pull us closer to him

  • Yup, thats it, its sin and the the things we do to fit in, for me it was drugs, drinking, partying, etc. Gotta let it go. Gotta wake up. So many people young and old need to wake up, stop just falling in line, stop living the lie that this is what it is. WEcan kill the maCHINE OF GENERATIONAL CURSES OF ADDICTION, and everything else for that matter. Now, this could have everything to do with Christianity or nothing. We are ALL in this crisis together. It's all about what we were put here for.

  • the long haired guy in the beginning picture looks weird, like his head is too small

  • @darknessweaver thank you ! I just found it annoying , cause no one is talking about the music , every one is talking about christian !!!

  • whoever wrote this song should get more $, cause this is one of the best songs ever

  • i didn't get it !! why everyone talking about christian and non-christian and that stuff ?? Can't you just enjoy they music ??

  • @multiCandygirl95 I thumbed up that comment. Cause I agree.

  • I'm not christian, but i always listen to the message the band is trying to send. I don't care what it's about, but i try to understand it because it was meant to be understood, not to argue about what the message is.

  • i LoVe ReD AnD tHeIr MuSiC!!! (:

  • @paramorecraze11 Did your caps button have a have a seizure?

  • Sorry i dont understand Screamo.

  • headbang xxxxxDDDD

  • when everyone says kill the machine... we as humands we as a whole WE ARE THE MACHINE. we need to feed the machine to keep the human race going, well to keep going technicaly and just stopping all our technical advancement wont realy happen.

Feeding the machine keeps humanity going, not feeding it saves the earth.

  • These men of God have inspired me to get closer to God. The messages are so brilliant that are placed into Reds music. Thank God for bands like this! Praise God and remember, kill the machine(;

  • Christian band or not, the fact that so many can relate just speaks measures. Whatever your belief, we are united in our struggles, pains, and joys.

In music we are all united.

  • I really didn't think much about what the band meant when they wrote this song. I just enjoyed for it my own personal reasons. It just seems like these kinds of arguments can ruin the experience a bit for me. Can we at least all agree that the keyboards are well done?

  • @ghostolordkira im really not sure what you mean im mean your not basing your facts against Christianity on real facts . i agree a lot of "christians" are dillweeds because they think theyre perfect wwhen theyre not remember you a sinner just like me we are all equal and it pisses me off when people like you bash us for being bad . if i were Muslim i bet you wouldnt be bashing me because i was different .hell i even swear from time to time and you know what i dont bash non believers

  • @33zombieman I don't bash anyone in particular. Just the ones that think the stupid shit that they think. Music was never invented to be for anything, but entertainment. You can interperet it however it makes you feel. I'm not going to let people say this music is just for "God's" messages. If you were muslim and you were saying the same thing or something else similar I would still be replying in the same way. Religion don't mean shit to me. It's the person. I'm not anti-religious.

  • @GhostofLordKira But you seem to be anti-religious music. The point is music, especially Christian music, was created largely to drive a message in an entertaining fashion. For a secular example let's look at Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisely. It drives home the dangers of cheating and alcoholism. Concrete Angel by Martina McBride, Child Abuse. There are many more examples. The Hurricane by Bob Dylan. Wrongful convictions and racism. Shall I continue?

  • @Christianrocker1990 The way you put it, it seems like some music is pushing religion on people. Just imagine someone who doesn't have the slightest clue about religion. Do you think that this music would be interperted as religious? I don't think so. I think the music would inspire them to do good in life. The point being is that something isn't really religious unless it contains the word "God" in it, or whatever else. Gospel is music that IS intented to be religious and send a message.

  • @GhostofLordKira You're just hellbent on ignoring any message this band tries to send you.

  • @Christianrocker1990 No I don't ignore the messages of the song. Music was always ment to give a different message to anybody, not just christians. But like I said Gospel is religious music only. Pretty much for people who believe in "god".

  • @GhostofLordKira

Music isn't just for the purpose of entertainment; it is one way humanity represents itself. Everyone wants to be heard, and musicians most often project bits and pieces of themselves at least into their music, whether it's a conscious effort or not. Red is a Christian band, and almost every Christian band is trying to get the message of Christ across through their music. However, people are making too big a deal of this. Listen to the music. It doesn't matter who you are.

  • @FlameofFaith94 Talk to the people who started the fight. When music was orginally created it wasn't to spread a message. Remember that.

  • @GhostofLordKira

That may be. But that was then...this is now. Things change; I'm not trying to be rude though. I understand where you're coming from.

  • @FlameofFaith94 You'll learn that change isn't always good. When religion wasn't included into music, the pointless fights never existed. Music is entertainment is always, and always will be entertainment anyway you look at it. I didn't start fighting about the religion nonsense, people jumped on me for saying something. Religion causes hate and violence, but music does not. Religion caused war and will continue to cause violence.

  • @GhostofLordKira

That's like saying guns kill people. PEOPLE are the problem. There are quite a majority of religious people who want peace, who just want to pursue their own faith. You can't judge religion as a whole based on the way some individuals decide to use it as an excuse for their behavior. I'm a Christian, for example, and I'm not big on violence. The code of my faith is love and grace...some people just decide to act distastefully and give the rest of us a bad name.

  • @FlameofFaith94 Religion caused it so in any case religion still causes violence. Some religion make people insane and they do things that they think is good when it's actually terrible. Like some religious people killed you if you didn't believe in there religion. Look at it this way, if the bible says to spread the faith around that like religion pushing. That's like the bible is encouraging people to force it on people. It's not the peoples fault, it's the informations fault.

  • @GhostofLordKira Alright enough. We get it, you hate religion, you think music is entertainment exclusively. Move on.

  • @Christianrocker1990 I only hate religion pushers. I do think religious people enjoy pissing non-religious people off. Atheism is growing and is starting to rival all religions in the world. Guess we'll see if there is a "God" when we die huh? There's a chance we won't see anything though. I don't understand why you people don't understand that God's were big back then. People always looked for help. Of course they are going to make a book and believe he's real. No proof he's real.

  • @GhostofLordKira Again move on. next comment gets deleted UNLESS it's about the actual song and not the possible meaning or a religious debate.

  • @Christianrocker1990 I couldn't careless what you do to this comment. Or any of them. Not my fault I have common sense unlike other people.

  • @GhostofLordKira Common sense is wonderful but you're being an ass about it. Get over yourself and move on.

  • @GhostofLordKira

I'm sorry. I've read the Bible through many times. I can list quite a few verses where Jesus says NOT to force it on people. If people aren't willing to listen, we are SUPPOSED to leave them alone. I can't speak for other religions; I haven't studied them yet. But if there is one thing humans are terrible at, it's taking responsibility for their actions. Information isn't a conscious entity; people are. THEY make decisions on how to act.

  • @FlameofFaith94 Hmm. Think what you like. We'll just see I suppose.

  • @GhostofLordKira "Religion caused it so in any case religion still causes violence."

no, its the sinful nature of man that causes violence. the earliest example i can think of is when cain murdered abel.

i think my bro in Christ answered much of what else you said, so i'll just leave it at that.

and i'm not forcing Christianity on you, all i'm really doing is clarifying a common misconception.

  • @sk1ll3tfr34k please don't get him going again.

  • @Christianrocker1990 did u try to clairfy that? or are u just gonna leave him hanging?

im not trying to start him up again, but i find that one of the reasons atheists are the way they are is b/c they don't understand stuff.

  • @sk1ll3tfr34k You're right they probably don't but they are so sure of themselves, they think they do and won't listen to anyone else.

  • @Christianrocker1990 You christians are the same way youre so sure of your self you wont even take in anything else into consideration. On top of that you seem to have a smug arrogant way of looking down on people that don't believe in the same thing you do so touche. In my expierence christians are some of the most closed minded people ever, why dont you just let people take the music for what they take it as and stop being a dick about it.

  • @cbr123100 i am a christian, but im not here to flame you. what i am about to say is not meant to insult in any way. truly, i pray for you to see that christianity is not about the christians, it is about a God who loved you enough he died in the most gruesome way so you can be with him. if your past experiences have taught you to see us that way, then i apologize on their behalf. i pray you come to see the love and acceptance of God beyond the failings of his children. i pray for your happiness

  • @TheCloudedfate and I appreciate that, not all christians are like that and I kind of implied that they all are which was my mistake. But a alot of them are like that and aslong nobody tries to push their beliefs on somebody then I got no problem with it. IF you want to know the truth I actaully envy christians for having the unshakable faith that they have. To be able to truly belive in something without ever having confirmed its existence is a gift, a gift that i dont have.

  • I'm just going to say that while the lyricist may have wrote this song in a religious context, I'm sure there was at least some intention of reaching out to people on an emotional level, philisophical level and/or other levels as well. I mean, I just find it a bit close-minded to assume that this particular song is purely religious and nothing else.

  • i read the comments and who cares if you think its "religious" or not who cares, its music. Just enjoy it! 0:00 here hit the replay.

  • Imagine if this song was used for Black Ops zombies.

  • @SkylerDSmith ive used it on zombies i owned until the song ended then i died lol

  • I don't believe in "God" or any of that stuff. I listen to Red because they are badass. We all relate and "translate" music in our own way. For instance I take this song as it's about Conformity. The machine is the general crowd and standing out and going against it is "killing it." Give and take ideas. That's how you become successful. Red is a great band that sadly is underrated. Listen to them no matter what you believe their messages are. Take it as your own.

  • @UrbanFlow51 I love it when non-Christians listen to Christian bands. However I hate it when non-Christian listen to Christian bands and ignore the message the band is trying to send you.

  • @Christianrocker1990 u know, music is only good, because each person has it own perception of what it means.... for me this song means that when u become one in a billion, when u become just one more person on the crowd u are allready dead, each person is diferent and that is what make us alive...

  • @Christianrocker1990 Music is completely interpreted by that individual person, their current attitude, surroundings, and mental state. As a Christian myself i'm a bit sick of the whole christian agenda, move to Texas.

  • @Christianrocker1990 religion doesnt matter i the same as UrbanFlow51 i do not belive in god, BUT we ARE reasonable people, red is an awsome band. but i leave you with this note.

Science is a reality, religion is a fantacy... that is what i belive. If you dont think non christians cant listen to christan music your going against your own views your own religion in a fasion. everyone is the same biblical or non biblical... deal with it.

  • @Christianrocker1990 actually dude when they do that and ignore.....just ignore them also...e_o they'll get what's comign to them in the end for ignoring God's message....any sort of message like that through a band could be one from him :/ so basically means they ignore God...but only a christian would understand what thats like -_-

  • @Christianrocker1990 It doesn't really matter if they're Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist, or any other Religion. It's music, and music is for everyone.

  • @Christianrocker1990 dude its no message, its just musicians that happend to be christian. Srsly this is not eminem

  • @TheNorce Oh there is most definetly a message. You don't have to like it, and you can find some other meaning in these words, but that does not detract from why the band is singing this.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Rocking isnt about recieving messages, its about enjoying the music and u dont have to know the messages to enjoy it.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Dude AMEN 2 THAT

  • @Christianrocker1990 So I can't listen to Christian bands unless I'm doing it for the sole purpose of worship? Thats lame.

  • @PessimisticMonday Never said that. As long as you acknowledge this is a Christian band who made this song with a Christian message and understand it, then I don't care.

  • @Christianrocker1990 ok how about you dont preach ur views or anything like that. who cares who is a christian or not? who cares about a message? i guarantee that most of the people that listen to this song just listen to it cause its a good song not to hear a message of God.

  • @Beason15 Or how about I do since it's my video.

  • @Christianrocker1990 i dont care if its ur video or not. that doesnt give you the right to force ur views on other people or to be a dick.

  • @Beason15 I haven't been forcing my views, if you don't like it, there's the door. No one is forcing you to read the comments or watch the video. You perfectly have the right to click away form this video.

  • Comment removed

  • @Christianrocker1990 If that's actually what non-Christians did, they wouldn't enjoy the music very much (or most wouldn't, anyway). While I'm enjoying songs of Red's, I'm not going to search for any sort of religious meaning. I won't deny that there's a religious meaning, but I WILL ignore it because it would kill the song for me.

    Just my opinion, though.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Sadly this can apply to many Christians too.

  • @Christianrocker1990 not ignoring. read over it again. people take different messages from songs, such as non-cristians will relate it to personal life or in this case the majority. cristians will relate it to connecting with god or how ..it? has helped them at some point. different messages to different people. but in the end this is just another opinion as is yours. each to their own

  • @SCOOBASTEEB 7 Let's say this one last time, yes people will interpret it their own way but there is ONE way the band meant it, and that is message the band is trying to send. It is the message of the song. As long as you acknowledge it and take it to heart, I don't care.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Sometimes the message can be hidden. Not to bash Red because Red is an awesome but i have not heard them once have God's name in a song when worldly bands use it more but then again to use God's name in a song with out cursing Him and routinely living a life so unrighteous is blasphemous or hypocrisy.

  • @SuperBeastboy50 Who cares? It's Just a name like Loch Ness Monster, or Sasquatch( Yeah you know what I'm saying).

  • @twentythirdphoenix Who cares?! GOD is no just a name! He is the only reason you and I are able to still be alive! If He was only a name my life would be a lot different!

  • @SuperBeastboy50 alot of christian band use parables. just like in the bible.

  • @jesuzforever Yeah thats true but they could at least say his once couldn't they?

  • @SuperBeastboy50 well i mean u can do it without mentioning God. u take the song breath into me. Who else can give us life but God. I know what your saying though. If you want a couple of bands that do say Jesus try 7eventh time down or seventh day slumber.

  • @Christianrocker1990 yeah and we Muslims hate it when non-Muslims listen to what we have to say and ignore the message God is trying to send you; with all due respect of course.

  • @UrbanFlow51 but this band is christian and makes their music based off God, not some conformity or whatever you make the music to be. the thing is THEY made the meaning of the song and you didnt, so no matter what you say or do, its a christian theme, so i hope you keep listening and find god instead of listening to him through this music and ignoring it.

  • @jrBlondebomber That's just ignorant... It's called freedom of thought and what we choose to see and hear is our own not something preordained because you think it could get a couple extra pointers in with God... They made the song yes and their interpretation of it is beautiful in its own light but if we all thought the same everyone would see a homeless man and assume he dropped the ball and has an alcohol or drug problem not the more likely that something in his life crushed him to the street

  • @UrbanFlow51 i agree....cept fer the God thing,,,,,but yeah ..... :) Red's amazing...u should watch the music vid fer this song!! XD

  • awesome song,RED is my favorite christian band

  • They are trying to be a light in a dark place for the people in this world that need or want help, and an inspiration to those that are so close to finding who they are in life.

  • I like Red. It's a great band, but I don't look at it at a religious point of view. To me their song's are a story that tell about life. Some of the song kind of remind myself of me. I think Red made their song's to be both religious and non-religious, so that everyone can enjoy them. I also think people should comment on what the song means to them, and not fight over a comment.

  • @GhostofLordKira What you take from the song is your prerogative, but...Red intends their music to be religious, nothing else.

  • @Christianrocker1990 They don't intent to just make it just for people who believe in "God" thank you very much for your input though.

  • @Christianrocker1990 Yes RED is religious, and their music portrays it. BUT, they use complex lyrics that give a meaning, without over bearing people with religion. That way they can appeal to religious and non religious people. They saw that in order to get famous, you can't market to one small corner aka christian rock, which only lately seeing popularity. They have designed their songs to cover a lot of genre, rather than just limiting themselves to one.

  • @GhostofLordKira I'm not really a religious person, so I also believe their songs can be interpreted different ways, so that's what's great about their music, lol.

  • @FullMetalSatomi Well at least you understand. lol

  • faith is stronger than love

  • What font did you use in this video?

  • To all the people that are having religious 'discussions' SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC ╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮ I'm Christian and Christianity isn't a religion its a relationship with our Creator. Religion means to bind up and Jesus didn't come to Earth to bind us up with rules and regulations but to set us free to be a man of God

  • Religious or not, this song is awesome. Nuff said.

  • I love red if you dont then why are you listening to them are you retarted! I get COLD CHILLS FROM LISTENING TO RED THEY HELPED ME TO ACCEPT GOD INTO MY LIFE! IF YOU DONT LIKE THEM LEAVE THE PAGE YOOU IDIOTS

  • @emoisbackxxzz John 3:16. He died for us. I have a relationship with both.

  • I felt God's presence while listening to this.

  • all im saying is red is christian rock band they arent called that for nothing some of there songs talk about the bible and om just saying that this one is talking about events in revelations im not trying to preach to anyone if you dont agree with me them all my comments dont apply to u
