@Blueslounge It's almost surely a function of the crappy mic on this recording...Robben plays LOUD, I was amazed when I saw him...he's pushing some serious air.  The rhythm section has their hands full keeping up.

Robben is ridiculously gifted. it's so cool hearing someone who can take the blues "outside" so effortlessly while still keeping things incredibly accessible. and seldom will you ear a  trio make such an fearless, exploratory, powerful, LOUD, yet sonically appealing blend.

I'd say it's likely up to 70% of the crowd at the Guitar blues show I saw the following week had probably never even heard his name. they'll remember it now.

ehey i was at this show it was really cool and Dwayne was awesome that bass solo it was crazy I told Dwayne that his solo was crazy after the show more like "Dwayne that was awesome" so if you know him tell him i said from the kid who yelled at you in Greensboro he had a wicked solo and that he inspired me to play more bass search us up on myspace and facebook search mental soup!! xD :) :D
