Universities, Media Groups, Civil Society, Businesses, Kenyan Social Media should be at the forefront in pushing for a live presidential debate. A live debate would not only help tone down the tribal rhetoric but it would also help the nation to focus on policies presented by the various parties. Let us open a new page on how we conduct politics in the country. Please echo the sentiments and help push this agenda forward. It is one way for the electorate to become educated on issues.
This people warudi ushago na they should stop reproducing kama panya/ pig. They think they can just build shanties everywhere in the country. This people are lying ati they dont know where to go. Rudini ushago mka lime ma shamba
The demolition dust has only settled due to elections, those Hyundai diggers will be back on full throttle so do not be fooled,it should be up to the courts and established rules and regs and not some politicians playing with peoples lives
Where are those pple who were contesting that Kenya is not a failed state. Surely when citizens are asking the Red Cross to help them and not their own government to do so then. Then the so called government just exists of paper. Plus you wonder a country like Kenya which possibly has the largest cabinet in the world and apparently no Emergencies Ministry you wish and wonder what is wrong with us pple as Africans and as human beings.
@harrydre You should study the law buddy. If you let someone live on your land without charging them rates for a particular amount of time, usually seven or eight years, you cannot just up and remove them. It's the law, study it sometime.
I THINK POLITICS SHOULD BE DEVORCED FROM GOVERNMENT POLICY AND PRIVATE PROPOERTY. PEOPLE SHOULD JUST LEAVE PRIVATE PROPERTY AND WORK HARD FOR THEIR OWN THINGS. I DON'T MEAN THAT PEOPLE SHOULD BE CHASED AWAY LIKE ANIMALS ANYWAY.
@pmukusu Very true. Until and unless we adopt a culture that respect the rule of law and recognized private enterprise we will never get anywhere close to so called vision 2030. Yes a lot of Kenyans are poor and need a place to live but that is no justification to invade private property of one who probably worked hard, followed his parents advice and did not give birth to 1001 children ovyo ovyo. Yes some of these guys did not apply to be poor but whose problem should they be??
