I really like the new lead character of XIII. She's based off of cloud, but she gets to use a Gunblade like weapon and the fight scenes seem to take place real time. Plus, we haven't had a female lead since Terra really, unless you include X-2.

Nope, looks like the PS3 is now nothing more than a Blu-ray machine with the ability to play games that are on the 360. This game will NOT come out in 2008. It will have a worldwide release in Early 2010. SQUARE ENIX have delayed it for 2 years for two primary reasons:
1) To continue developing the game and make it have over 100 hours playtime.
2) To release it at a time when more people around the world have a PS3.

She looks like a fantastic character, especially for being a lead female unlike Yuna. Don't get me wrong I liked Yuna but it's nice to get away from the girly stereotype every once in a while.

I'm definitely going to play FFXIII but as stupid as it may sound, I prefer to have male characters in games because it fulfills the male ego inside of me. I've played many RPG's with girls in them but none where one was the main character.

SSBB is just a game where you fight with other people and unlock things like trophies, charecters and other stuff. Also SSBB has no story to it at all like FF and Halo games.
