And yes Mexico does have a lot of Spanish origin, the language for example.. The mexicans lost their original language a long time ago and now speak another countries language. The light skinned, blonde, brunette mexicans are actually descendants of the european spaniards and are spaniards.. The dark, tribal looking mexicans are the real mexicans. Think about it, the true mexicans didn't have light skin and light hair before the spaniards came.

@DaygoJer Everyone wants to go to l.a.! and just because there are a few things in both languages doesn't decrease the value or worth of Los Angeles. And whites would not replace mexicans, they do a lot of the jobs that whites don't want to do. They function as crucial parts of the economy and it would suffer greatly with out them... And yes I do think L.a is the best in my opinion. La has beautiful weather, beautiful people. La has everything; beach, mountains, city, desert.

There are many Hispanics in L.A.. I'm Salvadoran and I know a lot of central and south Americans that live here. Mexicans are the biggest Hispanic group but their is about 45% of Hispanics that are not mexican that live here.

LA is around 50% Hispanic because here in the US, hispanic is used to refer to those who come from Spanish decent (as in from Spain). That means anyone from Latin america such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador etc.. and others such as Filipinos. Thats because all of these different countries were infused with Spanish culture since they were all ruled by Spain at some point. Mexico IS of SPANISH origin, in fact its a blend of Spanish culture and Indigenous culture such as that of the Aztecs.
