I like Maria's various reactions like when she's happy when most of the others end up believing in Beatrice, when she gets mad and pouty that Batler's denying the existence of witches and how sly she gets when she tells him about how it's an honor to meet Beatrice.

I also like Beatrice's calm, smug air of superiority even when Batler challenges her very existence. A lot of powerful beings would get angry at being questioned like that but not Beatrice, she sees it as a game to win.....

Nice fandub you got going here. The voice actors seem quite professional and skilled. I especially liked the scene between Batler and Beatrice. Their rivalry was fully established here and I think that Beatrice likes and respects Batler for daring to challenge her. It seems to me that Batler will one day become the head of his family. Still, I hope that the others in this scene survive the story too.....

Just because they are in a place created by a witch doesn't mean the murders were done by a witch.

You can accept the existence of witches and deny that one committed the murders at the same time, but Battler just hasn't had enough experience with witches at this point to know that yet.

Witches existing has nothing to do with the murders, same as the existence of Oyashiro-sama had nothing to do with the Hinamizawa tragedy.
