Just over a week later, the Fimmvörðuháls eruption began and new craters were seen erupting on a northward path In April this was followed by a larger eruption on Eyjafjallajökull itself, and there are fears that this will trigger a much bigger eruption of nearby Katla

@jonjon121724 Horses are being evacuated from the ash fallout south of the Eyjafjallajökull eruption site. Some livestock to the east of here have had to be slaughtered due to the ash fall, and some farms have been temporarily abandoned. The ash fall has decreased by now and is at this time going in another direction. There are also indications that the volcano is being emptied and no new magma flows in to the system.

@TheKubbur The Farmers in South have been badly affected by the ash blanket over the last days and some of them can't live there anymore according to latest news , since thick layer of ash is coating their land. Last image tells that story.
