Rock symphonies crossover changed the world to me. David rocks my world. He plays violin like no other. I mean there is lots of virtuous but nobody is as exquisite as David. He is so gifted this gorgeous young men. I can wright a history about this guy. He is freaking amazing and beautiful.

@VamLoveAndKisses Well, in a nutshell, yes. Music is an opinion and because it's not the original, I don't find it particularly appealing. But who's to say the original can't be different? Conductors have their own different interpretations of the symphony, and for me, that's enough. Symphony no.5 is great as it is and whilst you may enjoy the 'remaster'; I do not.

The only reason Beethoven didn't use electric guitars is because they didn't exist. He was a rock star in his day, and he used the biggest and baddest that was available.  David Garrets adaptation is a tribute, not a travesty.

I think it's a great interpretation of a great piece of music. What is the point in performing a piece of you're not going to add your own thing to it? I would much rather listen to different versions of a piece than stick with the same one over and over.
