Merry xmas to you too, but I have been unfortunate enough to see a few people shot in the head not in the movies. Sometimes the bullet does come out ( not that often) but its lost so much speed it doesn't have enough left to penetrate the next object it hits and usually bounces off, What I find a bit less likely is there being no noise when he's shot. When the bullet tears through the brain the victim usually makes a loud inhuman grunt.

This reminded me of one of the funniest things i've ever heard in the sopranos (that's saying a lot) and it also came from Angelo, when he was talking with Tony.B and he was giving him a taste of the joey peeps hit, telling him it's not all there, Tony.B looks at Ange and says "I did a clean job didn't I?" and Angelo says " Ah it's the way Rusty's running things over there now, sometimes I think he fucks his wife in installments". Here's the history for you guys:

Angelo refers to Joey Peeps as "a friend of a friend", a term for an associate not yet made. Sometimes you can get away with whacking an associate, but Joey was John's protege, and because it was wartime, John would look weak if Angelo went unpunished. He was smart to use Phil for the hit because Joey was also in Phils crew.

Also, Billy wasn't made. Notice after Billy's death, I think Sil says "he killed the brother of a made guy!" (Phil)

@known12 - you're right bro, but the producer's of the show had to take a lot of liberties with common sense, so as to give us entertainment. In reality, Angelo would've had people with him, because of the troubles that were going on in the family. And even if he stopped after the staged car crash, he certainly wouldn't have gotten out of the car like that.. he would have reversed and gotten the fuck outta there. That wouldn't have been as entertaining for us though ;)
