  • Hallo jens,

Das ist so schön gespielt .... toll. Liebe Grüße aus Remseck

  • Freut mich, danke, ToHH :) Schöne Weihnachtszeit wünsch ich.

  • Are you playing the same thing as in Classical Guitar, the same music I mean???

  • Hm? It's nearly the same thing as on classical guitar, but I stopped playing classical guitar some 25 years ago. Meanwhile I retry to learn to play ukulele, but I'm no longer bound to a musical style. I just have some fun and play everything I like :-) Does this answer your question?

  • @JuKeBox661 - yeah it does, well you see i play this song in classical guitar, but not in tremolo that is pretty difficult for me.... but yes it does answer my question... Thank you u did a great job!!

  • ok, thanks a lot! I got a normal "classical" version also on ukulele ...

  • @JuKeBox661 - By the way do you have the uke in standard tuning???

  • No, here the uke is tuned to ACEA

  • Excellent performance. May I ask for the sheet music?

  • Thank you! You may find the link for tabs in the description box of the video or on free-scoresDOTcom

  • @JuKeBox661 Hi! I just watched this for the first time and it's awesome! The link you posted above shows the original tabs. Would you happen to have the tabs for tremolo version? or briefly explain the finger picking pattern on how many times the A string is being plucked per A C E? for instance, is it A (A3X) C (A3X) E (A3X)? Fingers are a bit too fast to follow on the video. :)

  • @Jrey318 Hi! I tried to plug the A string x4. Classical ways it would be x3, flamenco players would do it x4. You may want to watch my tutorial on tremolo picking here: youtube.com/watch?v=izuduZhHVlo . Fingers used are imam (index, middle, ring, middle) to restart with the index after the thumb plugged the "bass" note.

  • Hi, Jens, fantastic! Your playing reminds me of the tune "Recuerdos de la Alhambra". Do you play it on Ukulele? :-)

  • Thank you, Tess! I played Tarrega tremolo studies (Alhambra, Sueno) on guitar some 25 years ago. But these are much too difficult to transcribe for ukulele and nearly impossible to play (see "gawasiman" - he played the Alhambra fantastically on ukulele).

  • @JuKeBox661

I've ever seen his playing.I know what you mean, Thanks. :-)

  • This is Great! Raggy

  • @raggyragsdale Thanks, your request inspired me to do so :-))

  • Ist mir unheimlich, wie man seine Finger so unter Kontrolle haben kann. Klasse!!

  • Daheim auf dem Sofa geht das mit viel, viel Übung. Ein Relikt aus alter Gitarrenzeit. Ich dank dir!

  • Sehr Stark ! :-)

  • Die Version davor war einfach net gut. Danke, Manni!
