Don't worry, I have the same obsession with Eric now, even though I'm a guy and he seems to prefer women (slightly, though he did flirt a bit with LaFayette). He was 6-time-awarded "sexiest man in Sweden". show Godric was very well-played. Much better than book Godric/Godfrey, who was really a disturbing character. I've watched this episode four times already! This show is amazing. Alan Ball makes a few major plot changes from the book, and all of them work brilliantly.

Because, he has lived for over 2000 years. He IS very powerful. But he also doesn't want to fight with the humans. He has killed enough of them in his time. He let them take him, because they found him and he didn't want to kill them. He COULD have, but he didn't and I think that shows more power and self control than masacreing (yea, cant spell that sorry) all of them. He is setting an 'example'. I thought his character was great, and well acted. It's not a crap story line...
