@guygeek007 : Every dish has its own taste and its way of doing. There is lot of difference between south Indian and north Indian food. Why would you want your so called "Mrs Doubtfire" to learn from North Indians as the recipe name says south Indian curry. Dont show your attitude towards commenting on others. It’s a shame for all North Indians. Do upload a video and let people comment on it. Correct your attitude.
I tried this recipe and it turned out absolutely delicous! Thank you so much for sharing. When I fried the mustard seeds in oil, the aroma reminded me so much of all the good restaurants in Little India, Singapore. Thanks again!
I just finished cooking this..I did one mistake..I was using tamarind concentrate and ended up using more of it....If using tamarind concentrate use a little...and it shud be fine.
Thank you for this delicious recipe. I tried it at home and it turned out to be really good except the fact that my tamarind water was very sour [more than expected].
theydont have to be the right amount of seasonings you can just add to what smells and feels right haha so you can just add alittle then if it needs more then you cana lways add more but this i the same for like fish, lamb, chicken, beef but some of them you have to cook the meats but fish cooks fast so yeah
@vikasbhardwaj007 Yeah that is much more than 2 spoons lol. When I saw him dump the chill powder I was thinking to myself how stereotypical that is. South Indian curries add a lot chilli powder, especially in fish curry. The fish curries in Kerala are some of the hottest even for someone like me who loves food to be the hottest/spiciest it can be. But more chilli = only tastier for me. Lol.
To those of you seeking the finest fish curry, I would check out the Malabar Coast of Kerala.
Hi, I jsut saw and made ur recipe. And the taste is awesome. My husband and I love this recipe, my kid eat lots of spicy food he say it's very yummy..........Thanks alot.
