Are you suggesting that I'm ok with Oasis covering songs, but not ok with people covering Oasis? cuz that's wrong, I love the cover that Ryan Adams did of Wonderwall, but then again he's actually a great artist unlike these guys...And by the way, I like the covers Oasis have done on The Who and the The Beatles, but that doesnt mean that they can get away with everything. you shouldnt cover songs like "I am the Resurrection" or "Gimme Shelter", cuz you can never better them or even come close to.

I took this video on my Cannon ELPH. I've never seen Oasis in concert, but this version by HBF was just really something to remember. I'm glad I caught it on tape. Let's not turn this into HBF v Oasis. They did the song their way, and whether you like Oasis or HBF or both, even my crappy camera video shows, it was a great rendition.

I have seen Hootie about 8 times and they are better each time I see them!! Once you see them in concert you will be a fan for life! I have alot of respect for any band that writes their own music, even though this one is one of few covers they sing. In the current water down POP music crap, They sing about real life. Also check out Darius Rucker video when he performed at the Bob Marley tribute show he is truely a diverse performer.

Hootie & the Blowfish are an amazing band, especially live. I just saw them when they were on LI and when they did this song it was amazing! I don't know of any band that does covers as well as they do.
