  • @MyDestinyProductions The original sirens were installed in the 1950's for nuclear attack warning. These new sirens were installed in 2005 and play a recording of the old ones. They have been nothing but trouble for the city because of their cheap quality.

  • :16 woman says Thats Creepy. DUH!!!

  • is this every tuesday. i mean i've only been to frisco once and i don't know if i was ever at the intersection, but i was there for a week. are they for earthquakes, or other types of weather. i guess it floods near the bay right?

  • I've lived on the peninsula all my life and I didn't even know San Francisco had sirens, let alone hear them. Apparently these new ones replaced some old WWII vintage units.

Haven't a clue what use they'd be out here. Earthquakes come and go too fast.

  • @xthemwordx

wrong, its for World War 3. An earthquake will come and go faster then anyone would have time to set off those sirens.. and if you did there would be no point, it would be after the fact.

There are no floods, tsunamis, tornados or hurricans in the bay area.

World War III, this is a civil defense siren, installed in 2005. It is exactly for what it replaced. War

  • It is for World War III.

The only time these will be used will be when the Nukes start flying..

No earthquakes can be detected, no tornados are in the Bay Area, no Tsunami's..

Its for WWIII..should be in about 4 years. I'd start getting ready

  • why dont you then.

  • @xthemwordx no there are no floods thats more in the hills of east bay but fro manly earthquakes
