Scott/Kevin - I just discovered your videos on here within the last week. The vids are great! Short, to the point and with enough info to be useful to the average Joe like myself. P.S. I love deadlifts. Always have. Must come from being 5'6" tall. (lol) Changed my technique slightly after watching this vid. Keep up the good work!
could you show the guy deadlifting in a max bench press video? and also be able to see his feet when he sets up the powerlifting motion. I watched the video but the camera is to high.. so you cant see how he gets so tight in the bench.
@khanriza Well as a workout it looks "ok" but whether it fits where you are at, is impossible to tell without assessment and evaluation. And remember as I always say, "a program is more than just a collection of workouts"
@khanriza Deadlift isn't for everyone that is for sure. Development-wise works by engaging the whole posterior chain in one kinetic event, which provides ample overload
@khanriza Deadlift mainly works the lower back, it does not focus the upper back, except traps. You still hit the mid/upper back somewhat, but that is not the main focus of this exercise.

Coaches,
My first comment was about 3 months ago, and a lot of progress has been made over that time.
I'm trying to incorporate this development deadlift into my back workout:
Pull ups - 6 sets
T-Bar Rows - 6 sets
Deadlift - 6 sets (I'm thinking of putting this here, please advise)
Barbell Curls - 4 to 6 sets
2 minutes rest between each set. All sets to failure
Can you comment on this workout.
BEST demonstration on Youtube, I link your video everywhere I can.

I'm not a big fan of deadlifting, and I think its because I've been doing it wrong for so long lol.
A question, how exactly does the deadlift develop the back? I can understand the lower back but how does it develop the upper back?
