Dragons are extreamly easy to kill. Mele-magic combo is the best. When a dragon has critical health, it can no longer fly. Attack it with magic until its HP is low, then finish it with mele. Ranged is totaly pointless. The dragon flys around making it difficult to hit while you waste arrows. And the only clear shot is when the are on the ground. But like i said; use mele when they are on the ground. Great vid though.

@Shuttheheckup735 so you didnt do this quest until you had got ebony daggers which you wouldnt get until at least level 20ish the earliest. This should be 1 of the first things you do.

I just went around doing random bandit hide outs and dwarf cities, from the start I was going for getting daedric armor/weapons ASAP, By the time I reached 90 smithing and unlocked daedric stuff, I already had 5 daedric hearts and 32 or so ebony ingots :P

@Dkouts57 you can do that cos you can make your character play how you want to. So you dont need to spend ages choosing the perfect set up for your game early on so you can experiment. This is the first quest in skyrim and if they expect you to resign your self to a class at like level 1 then thats just stupid imho. Im still experiementing with setups I like and im nearing max level.

@Dkouts57 well thats what they did back then they took their arrows out of the elk or whatever if it was not to badly damaged also bullets are to small unless u know a doctor takes em out with equpmeant lol and the gold n stuff was from the guards that the dragon just ate you get them when it turns into a skeleton so i guess your getting the stuff from his stomach lol

@unholychunk I say see if you can borrow it from your mate or something to give it a try and i'm not too sure about whether you will like it. It is a huge improvement in terms of gameplay in my opinion from fallout 3/ nv and oblivion. I dont think the mechanics are too similar its not really a typical rpg game as you dont have a specific class which means you have eliminated the problem with oblivion in that if you chose the wrong stuff at the start you suck during the game. Id say rent it first
