when the bird is sucked into the engine, well that sucks because it cause the engine(s) to flame out and shut down so then the plane is basically a giant glider
@JUKIO01 Erm... yeah, birds are heavy and hard. They can cause engines to stop working and fan blades could sheer off. Sometimes the birds are minced without damage but its better not to take a risk.
