DeafPoet2, Yes same thing with me when I was in Gallaudet although I have 2 deaf sisters, brother in laws, neices & nephews who are CODAs. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hiii! I remembered when I was at Gallaudet and coming home for Thanksgiving, I brought a friend from California as she was going to be alone in Wash DC, so I brought her with me. It was nice to have another deaf friend with me. My closest friend has been to my family's Thanksgivings n Christmases for past few years. Sure is great having her with us, n my family welcomes her with open arms n loves her like sister. This time we went out to eat at a restaurant, we had a great time, just us 2.
