@HEYYitsMEyou If you do a youtube search for End of December Words Cannot Express, that's my band. I guess you'd consider it hard rock. I'm currently on a 24x18 and there's just too much breathing room in it, if that makes sense?
@trio952 yeah i like your sound man, yeah i get what you mean, i'd recommend a 15 or 16. A 14 is super punchy, you need some depth so a 15 or 16 would give you that. I have a gretsch renown which is heaven the bass is 24x16, i play metalcore and stuff so i like a pretty punchy deep bass and the 24x16 does it for me. I'm gonna buy a acrylic sjc kit soon, just saving. I hope i helped, but i say try different depths find the one you like most.
@trio952 The only other thing i can say is different ply's, different woods. Or you can go acrylic, which is really punchy and might be the sound your looking for... i recommend checking out this /watch?v=wn0JVldJHDA you hear short clips of the drums being played.. i want that sound of the acrylic. yeah i hope i helped with your problem
@HEYYitsMEyou Thanks man! My friend tech's with Prada so Ill have to ask him what Dan's playing now. I know he was on a 24x22 for a while. But, yes, you did help out a lot!
@trio952 your friend is one lucky man. yeah he was on 24x22 with his hybrid and jis acrylic was 24x14 or 16. And i don't know his current setup.. yeah glad i could help bro.
J'adore les dimensions de ce kit, je crois que c'est celui que je préfère de ton immense collection! :p
