BB10: Renny upset over Dan's POV antics

No, it was necessary. Renny likes Ollie, he wanted to make sure that any loyalty between them was dismantled. She's really angry at Ollie because she thought he was on her side, and she's angry at Dan for his part in letting her know the truth in such a way. It makes her seem like a puppet and she doesn't like that Dan controlled almost everything that happened. Now that Ollie is out already and Michelle is also, I don't get why she still doesn't trust him.

I agree with Renny!!! What Dan did was totally UNNECESSARY! There is game play and there is game play. Dan has gotten waaay to big for his britches! Someone here commented that those who feel the way I do are way are too sensitive. I say those who don't are way too INSENSITIVE! Have some humanity people...yes it is only a game but they are still living there lives and have feelings. Dan, I expected better of you.

It got him this far. And, until this week, it's kept the focus mostly off of him. So, in all honesty, there's no possible way of saying that his strategy isn't a good one. In fact, most BB players have understood that there are only two good strategies: (1) Be a big, a-hole personality that everyone hates but wants to sit next to in the finale, or (2) lay low, seem weak, and stay under the radar until it's time to make a big move late in the game. Dan played strategy #2, and it's working well.

Could be. :>) Except, despite the uncertainties of tone in written (and read) messages, I don't have any actual emotion invested in this. It's just conversation about different points of view. I think the game is watched in different ways by different people. I'm REALLY into the sport of it; the game of it (cos I'm a game designer). AND I like the crafting of the psychological stressors and watching them play out. Some people prefer the showmances, fighting, and human drama. Both are valid.

But that's my point: Swearing on his family is one way of making someone in the game think you're being truthful when you aren't. It's just a tool in the game that they've all used (and gone back on). And his roulette game wasn't to justify; it was an additional move meant to get people fighting and take some of the focus off of Dan. That was his only misstep, IMO, cos it so easily backfired. Still, he survived the week and did his part to get rid of the other alliance, so good on him, I say.

Dan's strategy was brilliant here:

1) by asking who Ollie wanted to keep msafe he exposed that alliance

2) by letting Ollie pick both the nom and Veto nom he exposed the other side's targets

3) by showing Ollie and Michelle's anger he gave an excuse for the rest of the house not to vote out Jerry

It's too bad he had to break his word to Ollie since otherwise he'd be destroying his own alliance, but it shows his word ultimately doesn't mean much with the game

Besides Renny played a similar game in asking all of her alliance if they were ok in being "pawns" or sacrificial lambs for the week

But then he would have no guarantee for next week. Everything he did, exposed Alliances, and ensured his alliance wouldn't stray next week. The game he played at the Veto ceremony ensured that Renny wouldn't align with Ollie, and he had to break the deal with Ollie to ensure Keesha's safety. If he had not made a deal, Renny and Keesha would be on their own still.

My biggest problem with Dan is his attitude towards Renny, His ego had gotten to him a bit. Earlier in the video, there is a portion where Dan just says something like "Well if ur Upset Renny, Just Vote me out next week" WTF Dan, Listen first, understand why she's mad and then go from there

It's because she was trying to start a side alliance with Ollie, and she feels like Dan ruined that with his POV game and manipulating her into say Ollie's name. She won't say that to them, because that would give away that she was being shady, but it's true. That's why she protected him during her HoH. She was trying to recruit him for later.
