Tuff-fish shouldn't have checked after the flop letting his oponent get a free card. There was no scare cards after the flop (assuming his oponent didn't have two pair or a set which is always possible no matter what's on the board). By checking he not only let an ace fall but it was a third diamond on the board although this gave him a flush draw too.

That's what happens when you try to get too cute on KK or AA without hitting a set (although you should still be aggressive with just a set too. there too vulnerable) It's ok to slow play fullhouse or quads. I pissed one of my oponents once as he made a straight on the river when I had fullhouse on flop. Matusow did the same thing with KK vs Hellmuth 7 2. Matusow let the board pair then folded his KK as Hellmuth bluffed with 7 2! Matusow wasn't beat but was scared.
