hey when i start an app or homebrew, my gameboot goes through, but it still says PSP oveer it. why??

I try putting my own bootsound on the flash 0 vsh/module foder and it didnt work, i think I brick my psp !! please help, i have a phat PSP CFW 5.50 GEN Dfull. I accidently erase some files from the module folder help,!!! :(

no, in order to modify flash 0 you need to be running CFW

when i plug my psp in via usb with flash 0 i go into vsh the only files i see are resource and module when i try to create a new folder called module it says the folder name is already specified. would you kindly tell me whats going on.

yes, module is a hidden folder, but you can still access

while saving the atrac wav file you can type "module" in the file name prompt and it will take you to the module folder because its there even though Sony made it a hidden folder.

that would've been helpful before i bricked my psp!its ok though.i got it to work but i just got a module folder from a flash o theme and replaced it it was working i juast didnt like the theme so i found someone else is flash 0 and messed my psp up.

check to make sure that you have "show hidden folders" enabled and "display the contents of system folder" enabled, this can be done from the tools menu, click folder options then click view

its not a full brick, its a semi-brick, it means that all you have to do is replace the file that you put in there with the original opening_plugin.prx.

dude you dont uderstand i forgot to back up my flash0 files and replaced the files :o when i open my psp and go recovery mode there i exit so i can see the boot sound but it shows a black screen and it goes off i can acces recovery menu but it doesn't let me now for some reason btw i can't send you it in file front rapidshare and megaupload

make both and then find a tut. on youtube that describes how to use them to unbrick your psp.

i go to a psp shop they fix it with pandora i saw them use pandora batt they like take a batt then open it and cut somethign inside

then they put it in my psp i also have a magic mem stick so i got it fix yay!!

i payed like 14$ to fix it :D

there are video s on youtube on how to make a pandora's battery out of a slim psp battery. its easy, just buy a new batter and hack your old one, its quite simple if you get your parents to help you use the tools to pry it open, don't worry your psp will be fine. check this video out on how to make a pandora's batter out of a slim battery: watch?v=rJ3EZ11ltA0

you need to run the .exe file to install it though, if that doesn't work try rick clicking on the .ini file and click install

yes 3.90 m33 will work fine, but i'm sorry its not an .ini file its an .inf file. so you can right click on that to install it. the full name of the .inf file is "atrac3.inf"

well you're going to need Pandora's Battery, it'll install custom firmware. but you'll have to get it on eBay, because it's not really a Sony product. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show you how to make one though.

It's 4.01. And I fixed the problem (simple mistake on my part) and got it working...But when I was being really spesific with it once my PSP semi-bricked, and now (with the Sony logo skip option on) there isn't a network and settings menu, and the controls go crazy whenever I pass photos and music. Also, any game I run just freezes after the gameboot (which is custom and was working fine before). :(

no, if all you do is replace the opening_plugin, you will not brick. if something goes wrong while replacing, then the only bad this that will happen will be that your psp makes no sound when it boots. but thats why you backup the files

one problem could be that the firmware is wrong or that you clicked open wav AND open PRX, you should only click open WAV and then it should work.
