@majkk I'd say you're an idiot from the "the more MMA the better" comment. There have been some good MAIN EVENTS... But tell me, is a decent-good main event worth the $50 price tag? In most events, the entire card is garbage.
The UFC is starting to lose it's appeal. An example is here in Canada. All bars are usually jam packed with people wanting to watch. Nowadays, most bars are half full.
Tonight's PPV is a joke but next months PPV looks good.

UFC has generally good main cards. A shittier co-main cards. And really really shitty card in general. They have a lot of events but not really putting on stacked Pride-ish cards.
Just go look at any of Pride's old cards and compare that with Brock vs Carwin card. The Brock card is crap except for the main event.

@madPop511 Well I wouldn't necessarily find shogun and fedor because I see them as having different styles of fighting. Let's compare them when they were in pride. Shogun was an insane, aggressive fucker who brawled with people and stomped on them. Fedor was aggressive too, but he was more of a submission fighter while in pride. Don't get me wrong though, he was has good striker, but he didn't have that explosiveness of shogun. They are both great fighters.

C'mon guys you say Shogun was lucky, but you haven't mentioned the fact that before Shogun nobody in the UFC was able to hit him cleanly, let alone KO him, I don't think Shogun was lucky, he pushed the pace in the second fight, hit machida with much more than one punch, is punchng power and him landing a hook on a temple lead to knockdown, then to KO from g&p n don't forget shogun beat machida the first time and you can say he didn't get te decision but look at macida after their first bout

To all the "Machida" haters out there - shut up and grow up.
Shogun and Machida are respectable fighters for their styles - regardless of how effective one is vs another. If you want to get "annoyingly ignorant" and "technical" with the rematch then so be it. Shogun won via lucky blow - end of discussion.
I thought Shogun performed very well and I thought Machida definately produced - but Shogun in the end caught Lyoto with a HUGE lucky over hand.

@powerskr Listen I respect Shogun - I really do; but watch the KO. His arm glided over Lyoto's at the same time Lyoto moved forward. It wasn't a "timed hook" - it was a shot in the dark that was aimed originally to Lyoto's chin/upper chest. The fact that Lyoto moved to strike at the same time gave Shoguns punch an advantage - thus leading to him getting the win. It was luck - though I do respect Shogun.
