Having said that, I don't like the looks of the new 'maro, especially the preproduction model. The concept looked pretty good but it seems like the preproduction model got a whack job lol. It's still a sweet car though.

Ford has built the answer to both the camaro and the vette. Mighty mustang and the GT500 actually skipped the vette and went straight into super car class. Chevy is inferior in every way. They were able to preserve the Muscle car performance as well as fuel conserving technology that allows the car to get way better fuel mileage than even this newer camaro. With fuel cost as it is this piece of ancient newer technology won't last long. This car is bad business for chevy's attempt to keep up

And whoever keeps a fast car in stock form is a loser. Uh...thats most camaro owners. Because theres so little you can do to the camaro LT engine. That 302 or 4.6 has loads of mods to make it more beasty than any camaro in existence with very little cost. Thats what the Base GT was for. Because ford knew their buyers were smart and creative enough to form their own beast in their own image. Thats why i love the Mustang. Its a beast in waiting. waiting on its owner to unleash it.
In respone to Jayt98's criticism. First off, its a concept car, its hand built and not made for top performance at the present time. Think of it as a glimpse of what will be. I happen to know for a fact that the concept will make it to production in its current form, by talking to chevy reps at L.A. auto show. Throughout history, the camaros have always had better drivetrains, better chassis, and therefore better handling dynamics. The mustang has always outsold the camaro though, I'll give you that, but where's the fun in going out for a drive and seeing your car five times over within ten blocks anyway?

this new upcoming camaro is not supercharged, it is a naturally aspirated 400 hp car, The new GTR skyline is a Supercar, this is a car for people who don't have as much money as people who will buy the GTR, both are awesome cars in my opinion. ok first off a a r34 is already TT and it also has Awd which is slower wen it is dry. if u were to supercharge this camaro which already has 400 hp and put it up against a gtr34 the camaro would win hands down. and the skyline gtr34 was the best car for nissan and if u were to supercharge a corvette c6 zo6 well u no wats gonna happen. See Nissan Is SLOW as well as HONDA.
supercharged z06 against a stock skyline is like comparing a supra vs integra, ok let's put some stage 3 kit twin turbo system on the skyline against the zo6 supercharged and we will see what happen. just click on my profile and you'll see some nissan skyline 6 cylinder doing a 7.95 and it's not a funny car nor an r34
you don't even really need to supercharge a new camaro, just buy a race chip, im sure they will make one, it is a camaro after all, it'll add about what? 20-50 more horses tha'll be 420-450hp right there alone, new skyline is really hard to tune because of the dsg and all the other technology put into it. I like both cars anyway, for a modern car circuit car, id go with the gtr, for a chick magnet on a drag strip, gotta go with the camaro.

Ford has built the answer to both the camaro and the vette. Mighty mustang and the GT500 actually skipped the vette and went straight into super car class. Chevy is inferior in every way. They were able to preserve the Muscle car performance as well as fuel conserving technology that allows the car to get way better fuel mileage than even this newer camaro. With fuel cost as it is this piece of ancient newer technology won't last long. This car is bad business for chevy's attempt to keep up

That 302 or 4.6 has loads of mods to make it more beasty than any camaro in existence with very little cost. Thats what the Base GT was for. In respone to Jayt98's criticism. First off, its a concept car, its hand built and not made for top performance at the present time. Think of it as a glimpse of what will be. I happen to know for a fact that the concept will make it to production in its current form, by talking to chevy reps at L.A. auto show. Lastly but not least, the camaro will have an immediate impact at least short term. I think chevy has given an excellent response to fords brillance. The camaro must prove its longevity...

I think this is the camaros last chance to be reborn as a true american icon. If by some chance this car doesnt sell because of its competition (dodge, ford, pontiac etc..), the camaro and its legendary persona will be put to rest..I personally like the styling of the new camaro concept, and from artiles that I have read and other videos Ive seen, the actual production car will be quite similar to the concept.

Throughout history, the camaros have always had better drivetrains, better chassis, and therefore better handling dynamics. The mustang has always outsold the camaro though, I'll give you that, but where's the fun in going out for a drive and seeing your car five times over within ten blocks anyway?

this new upcoming camaro is not supercharged, it is a naturally aspirated 400 hp car, The new GTR skyline is a Supercar, this is a car for people who don't have as much money as people who will buy the GTR, both are awesome cars in my opinion. By the way, people put twin turbos on camaros and corvettes all the time, not just superchargers.

ok first off a a r34 is already TT and it also has Awd which is slower wen it is dry. if u were to supercharge this camaro which already has 400 hp and put it up against a gtr34 the camaro would win hands down. and the skyline gtr34 was the best car for nissan and if u were to supercharge a corvette c6 zo6 well u no wats gonna happen. See Nissan Is SLOW as well as HONDA.

you don't even really need to supercharge a new camaro, just buy a race chip, im sure they will make one, it is a camaro after all, it'll add about what? 20-50 more horses tha'll be 420-450hp right there alone, new skyline is really hard to tune because of the dsg and all the other technology put into it. I like both cars anyway, for a modern car circuit car, id go with the gtr, for a chick magnet on a drag strip, gotta go with the camaro.

Oh, and poolmaster298, every car built now is nothing but plastic. I drive a 1989 Chevy Suburban and I had someone hit me backing out of their parking stall. It bent the bumper slightly. ANY new car or truck and I would have been looking at a $500+ repair job, be it a new camaro or a Mercedes. The Suburban, by the way, is still in optimal running condition, even with 330K+ kms on it. ;)Oh, and this new camaro kicks ass. Had to put that in.
