I have one sapphire raedon 6970, and i get pretty hard fps dropps. Don't really know why. People told me to go back to older drivers, re-install wow, start it in xp2 mode. lower my settings. nothing has helped me so far. But i can play BF3 without my fps dropping at all. What am i missing here?

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the TOR beta, but I'm not convinced it's a WoW beater; WoW is old and established, but still feels fresh in places. They get the balance of feeling like you're coming home, mixed in with heading off for new adventures just right.

You need to do bezel adjustment so that there are pixels (that you can't see) to account for the bezels. makes it look much better imo.

@rushthezeppelin Bezel adjustment is overrated to be honest, when you have an eyefinity setup you very quickly stop seeing the bezels. In use having parts of the display hidden only draws attention to the bezels.

I loved the music in the film and always wanted to make a little video to try and complement it, the flight from Hyjal seemed perfect.

It's purely a hobby, though I use Pinnacle and Avid to do the editing which are quite powerful.

hi, so your 3 displays, where did you plug them in? only 1 card? in both cards? would 6 displays also work? 3 on each card? thanks!

@08ForberichF All the displays are connected to one card (most ATi cards support at least three displays "out of the box"). Two of the monitors connect to the DVi ports and the third to the Display Port using an active adapter.

It's not currently possibly to connect more displays to additional cards if you wish to use Eyefinity, but I believe that many change in future cards (if it hasn't already).

The wide flat box in the middle is a break-out box for a Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro.

The upright controller on the far-right is a mini mixer for my microphone and musical instruments (synthesizers and bass guitar); it's used for home recording though has just been replaced with a Line 6 UX2 MkII.

hey man, would you suggest the xfx version of the 6970? Or the Asus, I run a asus motherboard, wondering if xfx has any extra utility software for their cards like asus does to tweak voltage and clock settings?

@blingblingbling420 Well I'm using XFX cards here as they were the best available at the time, but Asus also make terrific cards. Many manufacturers offer premium "extreme" or "black" versions of their products which provide higher tuning overhead. Special edition cards are are not always available at launch though.

Nice setup! What resolution are you running? And what kind of fps are you getting?

@HiLuckyB Thanks for the feedback. I'm running at 5760 x 1080 and generally getting well over 100+ fps.

I'm still waiting for the waterblocks for the graphics cards so I've not really started tuning them (winding them up on air is noisy).

I plan to do some Eyefinity performance benchmark videos once everything is set up properly if you're interested.

@HiLuckyB Oh, also I realised after I recorded this that the game is actually running from the large data drive in the system and not the *much* faster SSD array; this probably explains the frame drop over Ratchet and between some zones.
