Why isn't she? Because Natalie can flat out blow! She has Grammys too. But mainly because they genuinely like each other & it shows.

They are rockin' this song. Natalie's tone is occasionally reminiscent of Aretha's but she's still always Natalie. Whitney is Whitney at her best. These two dynamic singers are clearly having a blast together. Pure joy. BTW, Dionne Warwick had the original top-40 hit recording of this Bacharach-David song. And Aretha followed up a few years later with her own unique version which became an r&b classic and another hit for this tune.

@BrownSouth I don't think so, no offence but Nathali's tone = not beautiful to hear, all she can do is belt. Whitney got her here and on the other duet, plus Whitney is a total package vocally, there's nothing wrong with her voice, everything is on fire, range, tone quality, runs, power, vibrato. Plus Whitney has the highest belt of the song.

I know that Aretha recorded this song, but it's weird that they don't introduce it as Dionne Warwick's song, because it was written for her, recorded first by her, and Dionne is Whitney's cousin. Interesting fact... Later on, when Whitney was in one of her fragile recoveries, she did a short European tour with Natalie and Dionne.
