Am I the only one who is reminded of Kathleen from The Accident (I think it was later renamed Day,) by Elie Wiesel?

There wasn't really too much detail in the book about her failed marriage and everything, but the lyrics match pretty perfectly with what was given.

(And if you haven't read that book, or any of The Night Trilogy, I whole-heartedly encourage it. The entire series is eye-opening.)
