I'm guessing you're using a Mac with Photobooth...
If you take the file and import it to iMovieHD 06, you can drag it down into the timeline, extract the audio, and then apply the mirror effect, save and share...
If you have iMovie08 or iMovie09, use it instead of Photobooth and you won't get that mirror effect...
If you use YouTube's Direct Upload it comes out the right way, but DU tends to truncate videos, at least it does for me.
