Also I don't believe that God makes us ill to teach us a lesson but I believe that if we do become ill for one reason or another God may allow it to happen to deepen our faith because if we had everything we needed all the time then how would we learn to trust God in hard times. God tells us what kind of father He is in Matthew 7:11-"Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for some bread? Would you give your child a snake if the child asked for a fish? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give good things to people who ask." That seems pretty straightforward.
Consider: Jesus has already died for us [He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities & with his stripes WE ARE HEALED-Isaiah53]. When we pray for healing, we're receiving the same healing Jesus purchased 2000 yrs ago. He doesn't come back & die all over again whenever someone needs healing. On the cross He said "It is finished." It's up to us to receive the gift He already gave us. To say that Jesus' death wasn't enough to heal us is a slippery slope.

Prosperity preachers base their definition of blessing on God's definition of blessing which is laid out in excruciating detail in Deut.28:1-14. It includes "being plenteous in goods, blessed in all the work of thine hand, above only & not beneath, victorious against all enemies." God describes His blessings as being so obvious "all people of the earth shall see thou art called by the name of the LORD; & they shall be afraid of thee."

Also I don't believe that God makes us ill to teach us a lesson but I believe that if we do become ill for one reason or another God may allow it to happen to deepen our faith because if we had everything we needed all the time then how would we learn to trust God in hard times. God tells us what kind of father He is in Matthew 7:11-"Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for some bread? Would you give your child a snake if the child asked for a fish? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. Consider: Jesus has already died for us [He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities & with his stripes WE ARE HEALED-Isaiah53]. When we pray for healing, we're receiving the same healing Jesus purchased 2000 yrs ago. He doesn't come back & die all over again whenever someone needs healing. On the cross He said "It is finished." It's up to us to receive the gift He already gave us. To say that Jesus' death wasn't enough to heal us is a slippery slope.

I'm glad they are being investigated, maybe God is drawing attention to them to stop the false doctrines,lies The target isn't so much people needing salvation, it the believers who need a healing or financial miracle, we give our last dollars for a miracle that never comes and we are left to pick up the pieces if we ever even can.
