I'm not taking any sides about Bush etc here, but to be fair to the Secret Service I think from this video they handled this very professionally. This video is interesting, but I don't think that it highlights anything controversial regarding them. I watched the video of the confrontation, and it was aggressive. I think they were just right to check up on you, just as you should reasonably expect police to check up on someone shouting like that at anyone in public.

I'm not taking any sides about Bush etc here, but to be fair to the Secret Service I think from this video they handled this very professionally. This video is interesting, but I don't think that it highlights anything controversial regarding them. I watched the video of the confrontation, and it was aggressive. I think they were just right to check up on you, just as you should reasonably expect police to check up on someone shouting like that at anyone in public.

First off, their visit was in no way to make sure you're not a threat, it was to intimidate. If they were worried about threats they'd have to visit everyone. Honestly, if someone was actually planning to kill Bush they wouldn't be yelling at him at a restaurant.
Second: All you did was cuss him out. That doesn't give them the right to visit your house, or demand that you stop by.
Third: I'm sure you're scared, but the best option would be to tell them to fuck off.

I was actually extremely surprised at how well the Secret Service handled the incident, they remained calm the entire time. They must be very well trained.
These definitely aren't the average, skull cracking riot cops.
And yes, if livemusic had been brown, this probably would have ended far differently.
