  • I don't think Johnson was a bad president. He had a motto that education is the ride out of poverty, and being one that was from a poor Massachusetts family; education did open doors for me, thanks to programs initiated by the Johnson administration.

    Vietnam had stolen the light on all the good things he accomplished in his career. I admire his character, and loved ladybird.
