To awaken American people with regard to Shariah compliant finance, one needs to not just call it names, but explain in terms understandable to everyone what is wrong with it.

From what I was able to figure out, it does not prohibit investing with "sinful" enterprises, such as those associated with pork or alcohol. Instead, it imposes a sort of a "sin tax," a sum of money an investing company must pay to a fund, controlled by corresponding council of Islamic scholars.

And if you put it in a special account, you can in prescribed time take X+ out. If you put X dollars in a bond, you can get X out. If you put in in stock, you can lose it all; but who forces you to put it in stock? You can also put it under a mattress if you want. It's your decision.
