Because he use a noob illegitimate shortcut. Truly skilled CTR racers play it through PROPERLY and the only shortcuts u should use are ones which are legitimate,like the one Oxide used.

The best (and probaly the hardest short cut)on this track is when u jump onto the road that appears above u on the fina big-air jump. Try it. Gl =)

But how the hell did ya do that super long boost and be able to jump to the other side on that 2 sided street part? o_o I mean, in 0:34 ....

When you go on that massive boost, don't jump or skid or do anything. your boost lasts and you keep going until you bounce and it stops. It speeds u up and cuts off about 5 secs off the lap time, but there are heaps better things you can do, one which cuts off about 20 secs and stuff. It took me a while but I got them.

u jump off the ledges and stuff, u cut like 40secs or more out of each lap, its awesome.

e.g. u know when theres those two hills that dip in and theres the piece of track on ur left when u go there? u can jump that and u cut heaps off about 15 secs. Theres others to.

you do a power slide and press L1 when the bar on the lower right corner goes red

Very good, but I got one advice. On the last hairpin corner, instead of braking and pressing the left arrow only, brake while holding both the left and down arrows. It could also be useful for turning around for the shortcut.

Yes, I can get the turbo but for like 2 seconds :S It's the same on N. Gin Labs aswell, I get the super turbo at the end but once i get past the bridge I loose it, anyone know why?

There's no such thing as auto boost hehe :) its you like pressing the turbo button faster than BenV.

Try to max out the red powerslide gauge and you'll see your boosts last much longer.
