I am haveing problem getting my cat to use his litte box he craps in it but goes pee any were he feels like it he doent even try to get to the box but he needs to crap he goes there any one know how i can get him to fully use his box as my dad does not like cleaning up peee every few days
our cat used our bathtub wen he first came here, not sure if his past owners let him do that. but anyways we tried putting the litter box in the restroom, still didnt work. we tried making him claw the litter he just kept running away... ugh -.-
what i did was put him in it and told him: "this is were you go to the bath room." and pet him and said "good boy" it worked pretty well. sometimes he doesn't go in it thow but i don't scold him because i am really lassie and probably forgot to empty it.
i saved him, his mom abandon him when he was only a few weeks old. i had to feed him with a bottle. and to make him go to the wash room i had to wip his bum to make him pee:P lol. he is one now and i love him so much
Toilet train them and no more litter or scooping ever. Easy to teach them and any cat can learn. Saves @ $3000 on litter over the course of a cat's life.
i tried it on my little kitty (wiskers) and she started using the litter box right away and i am really proud of my kitty and its all thanks to you. she stopped using the whole house as the litter box and it makes it a whole lot easier on me to clean her poo and pee.

All I did was pute my cats in a their cage and a small litter box to....they were trained in a day :)
