OMG!!!! I love this song!!! I've loved it ever since I heard it when I was a little girl!! I got the book as well the first time I ever saw him in concert and got it signed. I still have the book to this very day. I know the song by heart! <3 for Tom!!
Remember seeing Tom Paxton at the Isle of Wight music festival in 1969 , Dylan was on the same billing but i prefered Tom ,it was the first time id seen ether live
possibly the best folk songwriter in modern times, never scared to say it how he sees it, a giant of a man music wise. Thank you for posting this video

I love Tom Paxton, but this isn't the original version of Jennifer's Rabbit. I don't like this one as well.

I remember an evening at the Champlain Valley Folk Festival where Tom did an hour of his children's songs - an amazing collection.

Thanks for uploading this! I love his singing and the way he does the turtle's voice.
(btw, I've met the titular Jennifer, who's obviously an adult now, and she's such a nice woman that this song makes me smile even more)

He wrote this for his daughter, what a lovely gift. I have this on cd followed by 'I'll give you the morning' which he wrote for his wife. Beautiful.
