  • fuck those foreign pieces of shit.

  • You probably got a 383 T5 in their to huh? lol

  • Just needs a bigger boost gauge is all...

  • Danger to manifold!

  • ur weak

  • there's no such thing as too much boost your just weak.

  • What turbo ?

  • When I first got my Turbo gage for my GTI, I over-powered my turbo, and screeched my tires in front of the cop at my school, and he smiled at me. Funniest shit ever.

  • It makes me want to finish building the Ho. I love these little things, cheap to build and fun to drive fast.

  • Damn, makes me want a NOS Fogger system and a Motec System Exhaust! Nice way to spend Ten Thousand Dollars

  • @t1gl1t There's no way there's half that money in the car in the video.

  • @electricshockproof

Its a Fast and the Furious quote ;p haha.. like most of the others on here haha. Now I must be off to race a honda civic with a spoon engine LOL

  • now me and the mad scientist gotta rip a[art the block and replace the piston rings you fried.

  • lol im 90% sure thats a 2.4 highoutput. srt4 motor

and it takes 17-20 on stock turbo system ez. with the stage 3 u can put out 26 psi with no other mods. and thats the stock vac system too

  • @brandi0421 wtf, its an 80's turbo dodge. don't be stupid. its a 2.2 or 2.5... Barely anybody ever puts the 2.4 in these, they came stock turbocharged.

  • yo dawg we heard you like gauges, so we put gauges in your gauges so you can monitor while you monitor

  • Needs more gauges!!!

  • Turbo K-Car!!! I Love it!! Gotta like the sleeper look. I had an 87 Shadow with that 4cyl leaning tower of power and I used to put 23lbs of boost to on a regular basis. Damn miss that car. It got soft and had to be put down.

  • Too much gauge

  • Your lucky that 20 PSI of boost did'nt blow the Welds on your Intake.

  • @MiNiM4D Exactly. But then again ask any teenage know it all and they will tell you that there is "No such thing as too much boost".

  • @MiNiM4D sure did on fast and furious;)

  • @MiNiM4D umm. no he's not. my friends dad has a heavy duty pick up that has a turbo at 25 psi. its fine

  • @MiNiM4D its actually 100 shot of nos dumbass. You make no sense.

  • Comment removed

  • @MiNiM4D Or make your floorboard fall off for no apparent reason

  • @MiNiM4D Thats supposed to be NOS matey

  • @Slasher52000 I know, thought I'd change it up abit to suit the video lol

  • @MiNiM4D

    He right.

    lol Fast & Furious geek

  • @MiNiM4D okay dom whatever you say

  • @MiNiM4D Otherwise me and the mad scientist would have to rip apart the engine block to replace the piston rings he fried

  • @jlpounds2001

Not my car, but the 80s dodge turbo motors can run 30psi.

  • my car does the same at 15 lbs lol.

  • 20 PSI OMG WAY TO MUCH SO MUCH BOOST IM LOSING MY FREAKING MIND HERE

  • @justaneonlol 2 bar would be loser to 30 PSI, not 30..

  • @DashboardJesus999 Is this being measured in bars? Nope. Therefore your comment is completely irrelevant to this video.

  • what went wrong im lost

  • yall dont kno what boost is, get a real engine that can take 120 psi! its called a cummins numbnuts! and my duramax takes 31 stock, diesel is where its at

  • Yeah me too, I run 15933827 BAR of boost even when I'm in the shower. Fuck off dickheads...

  • pretty much from what i understand As long as your Air intake manifold can still regulate your air mixture as its sucking in the Fresh oxygen And Wile Still SUcking in the Turbos Extra Air that it Produces your good the CPU AND THE ECU has to just be programed to Know the Fule Air mixture if its tuned the skis the limit You can pretty much Boost as much as u want But I would know the limits of the parts internally cause theres alot of other things that could go wrong but yah Boost up NIceVID

  • i run 25 on a daily tune on my r32....big whoop.

now my weekend map is 32 speed density;]

  • ooooo a whole 20 damn psi... you rebel!!!

  • lol its only 20lbs of boost....

  • i run that much boost on my camry :P

  • @hodgoes2001 no you don't.

  • @kkage2 um... i do... but the motor has been totally rebuilt...

will post up video in the next couple of weeks when it is complete

  • @hodgoes2001 well that's a little bit different if the motor is not stock ;) any stock camry would blow up under 20 psi

  • @kkage2 lol i did run it on the stock motor for 3 years before it went boom...

it is the V6 one... they actually had a TRD super charger which went on standard motor and gave it 12psi..

i know this because i use that supercharger i use with some mods...

they are a very strong motor..

  • uhhh.... what year is your camry....

  • @hodgoes2001 yeahh the V6's are pretty strong. i used to have an ES300, which is basically the same car.

  • @kkage2 1999 3.0L 1MZ-FE Engine

  • @kkage2 1mz-fe in camry is a 3L v-6.. The es300 has a 2jzge which is a 3L Inline 6... Not the same

  • @jakekekoa nope, you're thinking of the GS300, which has a 2JZ-GE/GTE.

You'r gonna try and tell me my car had supra motor? i wish..

The ES300 isn't anything more than a glorified camry.

  • what BOV were you using?

  • There's never too much boost. There's only too small of an engine.

  • THERES NO SUCH A THING AS TOO MUCH BOOST THERES ONLY NOT ENOUGH BOOST MWAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Too much boost..lol you can never have to much boost..haha

  • how to make that voice while shifting gears? the "tffsss"

  • @aishiterusaif simply change the air valve next to the turbo

  • @dennelke1414

    alrite imma try it

  • @aishiterusaif blow off valve or a cheap whistle at the exhaust.

  • ahah gotta love the tough ass oldies, I know a guy with a grand national that can outrun z06's

  • @GodlessMartyr666 GN's are badass. Outdated when stock, but still badass when modded and also an amazing car at the time of production. Gotta love an ole sleeper like a GN.

  • @GodlessMartyr666 amn g.n's kill when tuned.

  • how is that too much boost? i daily on 20 psi...

  • +1

20 psi is easy daily boost, na in fact any boost you want. your right foot controls the boost. you dont have to floor it every were,my local tune shop runs a skyline with a gt30r turbo @ 30psi, and that rarely gets boosted about to the max (partly becasue a gt30r @ 30psi spins the tyres even up in 4th, but then hes lastest rebuild cost 9k so im no sprised, but he does when safe to do so like entering motor ways and it rides as smooth as and low boost set up if driving 1/4 throttle

  • What blowoff do you use :) ?

  • All this talk about boost, boost, boost. With a piss small turbo, you'll make the same power at '42psi' (as everyone keeps saying) as you will with a large turbo running maybe 10-20psi. It's all about airflow, not boost. Sure, boost makes a difference to power, but that's because the airflow has been raised. My stock GTR setup made ~320rwhp with stock turbos. Stuck on bigger turbos and made ~410rwhp at same boost. But you don't hear people talking about how much air their engine flows. ;)

  • @RocketFast321 Completely forgot to mention nice car, my apologies. K-cars are awesome. I'm personally a VAG guy ;) but I've know VW/Audi & Chrysler to be a lot alike. They're both like that crush you had in school, hot, but weird as fuck.. You have to know her personality and little quirks to deal with her.. But when SHE gets YOU her under control, she's the stuff of talk, and everyone wants what you got. You don't own these 'cars', these 'cars' own you ;) Right ladies and gents?

  • @Galley415 For any of the American consumer pick-up truck diesels 40+psi on stock internals and turbo, assuming you have a tune and injectors, is pretty respectable. Cummins diesels tend to have higher boost than GM or FMC (Ford) because the inline configuration allows for a longer cylinder stroke, meaning more room for air & higher compression. The most I've PERSONALLY seen a Cummins go is 118lbs of boost, twin stock turbos & GM/FMC were both 95lbs. The GM/FMC's are much more reliable tho.

  • Ha only if u want ur engine too blow, ur not just going to get boost by putting a turbo on ur vechical, it takes fuel to create boost.an hx35 is only capable of 35psi. So the bigger the turbo u have the more fuel u need to push it, the more fuel u have the higher boost u will have.

  • Haha my vehicle hits 34psi easy an my buddies hits 45psi easy!!!!! But that's cause we are driven dodge cummins! Haha

  • @Coltonself1995

45 thats puss for diesel you should be hitting 80,... but thats only if your running twins?

  • Eat shit

  • Wow. Who the hell thinks he is running 42 lbs of boost? Hes in vacuum to start, then goes through 0 which is where it begins to then read the boost from the turbo and he gets to 20ish lbs of boost. Its not too odd to see a 20lb boost K-car. In fact ive seen alot of cars modded to 20+, but streetable they only run 14.

  • 40 psi engine ftw

  • never too much boost

  • nice, greddy type S bov? ;D

  • do you got to school im Lima ohio at unoh?

  • 20 an anything hah 40 is alot :) i blew the dsm at 28psi

  • Where the hell does anyone see this guy running 42lbs of boost from? His boost gauge is only reading 22psi when it spikes, and holding 20psi. This is completely normal for a K car with minor modifications. The gauge itself doesn't even read above 30lbs wtf. It starts at -20 inch lbs of vacuum and goes goes up to what looks like 30lbs of boost.

Half of you here seem to have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to mechanics.

  • @un4gvngplsr ...that'd be -20 in.Hg (inches of mercury) measured vacuum, not in-lbs (inch pounds).

  • @xyphur Yeah i always spit out those two measurements out backwards, used to converting it in my head for volumetrically efficiency equations when building turbo systems lol, was hoping no one would catch it but then again this is the interwebs, cynics everywhere lol..

  • @un4gvngplsr clearly he was just increasing his manifold vacuum to 20 feet (not inches) of mercury. I never saw it boost.

  • @cheesegoat824

Boost gauges measure vacuum in inches of mercury. I don't know where you're getting your information from but I'm pretty sure it's wrong.

  • @CoChicken1337 It's this thing called a "joke". I don't know where you're getting your sense of humor, but I'm pretty sure it sucks.

  • @cheesegoat824

    >get called out for being a dumbass

    >play the "I was just joking" card

    Nice try. You're an idiot.

  • @CoChicken1337 If i really didn't know what I was talking about why would i put not inches in parentheses? I put that to make sure people knew I was kidding. Obviously some people take things way too seriously, have fun being macho over the internet, literal Luke.

  • @cheesegoat824

You put "not inches" in parentheses because you were trying to make sure that he understood what you were saying (even though you were dead wrong).

  • @CoChicken1337 Once again, it was a joke, if you read the entire conversation of the dude that I replied to you might understand. Or maybe you just know what I was talking about even better than me. Either way, I'm done arguing with you dude, have fun arguing over the internet, maybe you'll qualify for the special olympics.

  • @cheesegoat824

Once again, you're continuing to backpedal. I'm glad you're finally admitting you were wrong, though.

  • @un4gvngplsr absolutely right... the minus section is when he release the gas. the intake changes from pression to vaccum

  • @un4gvngplsr youtube mechanics are the best, i cant even believe some people think they're saying something that makes sense

  • @un4gvngplsr im pretty sure the majority of these people get their info from the need for speed games

  • @un4gvngplsr Well obviously You add the high and lowest pressure and that's how it works (sarcasm)

  • @un4gvngplsr I also want to know how he thought a K series is a V6! Lol! What an idiot!

  • @AdrenalineJunky17 Because the more common motor for them was... whats that? a V6?? WHOOPS, learn your stuff first boy. The best package was the turbo 4cyl though.

  • @jamie381 Ok, when you say K series are you referring to a car or an engine series? Because I am referring to the K series engine! Which is a 4 Banger!

  • @un4gvngplsr i can see it kinda looks like 40 at one point but agreed i definitly seen it was 20

  • @un4gvngplsr: What did you expect? It's YouTube. Most vievers here aren't even old enough to drive a car.

  • @un4gvngplsr i like chocolate. but yes i agree with you

  • @un4gvngplsr thats exactly what i was thinking. he hits about 22lbs. i run 24lbs all day long with my 35r on 98 octance!

  • @un4gvngplsr they are saying its moving up 42lbs, from -20 to 22. idk why they think it reads 42 tho cuz it doesn't, it definetly stops at 20lbs

  • i seen a supra the other day just sit there and spin....i bet my spirit boostin 18 psi will beat it easy

  • i was talking about supras

you see those little 3.0 v6 engines handle mass amounts of boost

i know this what this is.

  • @ibanezkid07 For starters the 2jz 2.0 6 cyl is a inline 6 not a v6... Supras can handle some crazy boost.. But K cars like in this video, can handle massive amount of boost, I have seen people running 40psi on these beater K cars and actually use them as daily drivers, for some reason they can handle the psi no problem... As for the guy talking about 40 psi on pos civics, you clearly have NO idea what you are talking about .....

  • @dozedrift u mean 2jz 3.0

  • @tomjw7 Yep must have been a typo I know my shit lol...

  • u aint to bright are u? supras run 3.0 I-6s HUGE DIFFERENCE probally by 100hp and alot more torque. and any car can handle mass ammounts of boost u just gotta build it the right way. My powerstroke is pushing 65lbs of boost with the twin turbos. When it was stock it pushed 28lbs of boost? i forgot, but 90% of those rice burners that u probally drive like a honda are generally pushing 15lbs or less. Unless they r putting alot more money then it is worth into that motor. Thats all they got

  • @LowDexPro

who gives a shit., you have a ford shitbox. its a diesel of course they run higher boost. they also run fuel pressure in the tens of thousands psi. supras DONT hook up. so they can have as much power as they want. but it comes down to traction

  • @mxb521 dude i know this and dont trash on the p-stroke ill put money on it will dust just about anything you own and if it dont i bet i can get a better lap time then u with ur own car. I know alot of racing, cars and motors. Since i was 3yrs old we would go to RA every weekend and 2-3 times a week we would be at Great lakes. The first thing i raced was my dads 87 carolla that we had built for rally. I have a 1.3mile dirt track for it and everything. Tho we use it for our atvs now lol

  • @LowDexPro i got my liecnce at 16, i got my racing liencence b4 i was 17. I won multiple races in many different classes. There was a different event near us that i took 2nd in with a car we had just got done building. I had never driven this car or anyones like it and still took 2nd. Racing is my life. and if u look at some of your other comments i was telling u the same thing. Everything is about traction. Supras can get traction you just have to get wider tires lol

  • @LowDexPro

even so, the powerstroke is a terrible powerplant. cummins FTW. i had a powerstroke nearly kill me in stock form.

  • @mxb521 yeah cummins r nice motors but you really cant compare. Even tho everyone does the only true diesel motors that can compare is a p-stroke and a duramax which i hate btw lol. CUmmins are i-6 which gives it a higher rev cuz less cylinders to move and cuz its inline it has more torque and higher rev. 3+ agains any v8 diesel. Tho when i pull i keep right up there with em. Last yr at county fair i got 5th place at 297ft. first place was 338ft full pull lol

  • @LowDexPro a duramax and p-stroke rev higher than a cummins the both nave shorter stroke than a cummins the cummins has higher torque numbers because of its long stroke

  • i still dont understand how a 3.0 v6 can take 42psi..

  • @ibanezkid07 it's a turbo k-car with a 4 banger

  • @ibanezkid07 any car can take 42 psi if u build it right

  • @tomjw7 and a good tune

  • @dirtbikernick very true

  • @tomjw7 yes, and anyone can run fast if they run fast enough.

  • @ibanezkid07 i still dont understand where u got the 3.0 and v6 part from..

  • @ibanezkid07 2JZ are a I6 3.0 that take more than 42psi

  • @tundralover 2JZ no shit.

  • @mindfuckerification 2JZs are bad ass

  • @ibanezkid07 dumb ass.

  • @ibanezkid07 Then you wont understand how a 4cylinder can take 86(:

  • @ibanezkid07 with a really low compression ratio and high octane

  • @ibanezkid07 its all about the internals and hoses it has nothing to do with the size of the engine

  • @ibanezkid07 go check out david stocks evo hes running like 48psi from a single turbo through a 4cyl block ive also seen a 6cyl supra run over 55 psi gas motorsports for the supra

  • @ibanezkid07 look up underground racing worlds fastest civic.. 40lbs of boost on a 2.2 I4.. all depends on build quality bro.

  • @canthony1019 lol Bro! ChadBro, Brotatoes, Bromofo

  • @ibanezkid07 It doesn't.

  • @ibanezkid07 exactly there wouldnt be enough big end bearings to support that kind of force

  • this isnt too much. its not enough!! haha keep it running good to see people still building these!

  • s4 Running 30lbs boost 10.48

  • whos?

  • not much of an expert but my friend has a shop with a dodge omni shelby and that things runnin 40+psi!!! and does the quarter in 11's. if you build it right, you can build anything.

  • actually ive read many tuner mags and there have been feature cars that push 40psi-50psi and are reliable street cars. they do run faster than 11s tho lol

  • only with big displacement. 40~50 psi on a street car is a pretty general statement. and not seen that often on anything smaller than a 6 cyl. not to mention the volume of air at 40 psi is different depending on what compressor housing your using so you really cant say 40 psi out of a 16g is the same as 40 psi out of a 35r ( example, not like a 16g can even reach 40 psi) but even with that statement i would still take what you read in mags with a grain of salt.

  • go to drag strips, there honda out there runnin 40+ psi boost on little b16s an b18s and they are daily drivers. i didn believe you could run that much boost, but they sjowed me the boost guage, an it clearly was hooked to the intake after the turbo. but i would agree with the mag statements.

  • hellion turbo makes 60+ psi turbos... its called forged parts for your engine an copper headgaskets. top fuel dragsters have pushed over 80+psi with twin turbo an supercharger. your right some people are just so fuckin dumb. you have no idea what your talkin about

  • im sure there are a few 4 cyl that can run the boost. i am aware that you need a built block to run that kind of boost on any kind of engine. i didnt say anything about never seeing it. and i can honestly say that people with that much work in a civic is not driving it all over the place.. if people are telling you that they daily drive a civic pushin 40 psi, they are using the same amount of boost to blow smoke up your ass.

  • thats nothing, theres a semi that drags and its pushing 121lbs of boost. Thats fuckin insane.

  • hes driving a dodge omni

  • wtf are you driving?

  • yeah 20 psi is ok once u get to almost 30 its better :P

  • 30 psi? i hope you're good in fixing engines or replacing them.

  • not if ya got a 2JZ

  • cant wait til my charger pushes that much boost. Only at 14psi/16WOT.

    =D

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks more like a spirit then a k car to me :)

  • Awsome

  • Never too much boost!

Im at 18psi in my shadow now, and cant wait to go higher

  • I agree. Im pushin 20 psi in my 07 GTi :D
