@pshinspections Only made in China as there is one small town which specialises in the unique insulative ceramic material. Huge efforts were made to get this made elsewhere, but it really is a specialist manufacturing process. They use a particular type of clay, which occurs naturally in the region, and mix it with a certain grade of sawdust which then burns away during firing to produce the honeycomb effect. Also, the workers are treated well. Not ideal I know but not as bad as it looks.

great work, I am building a rocket stove my self. A small one out of a five gallon bucket, and a larger one, out of a 25 gallon barrow. I want to put a tray in the back, for the ash to fall into, what do you think of that.
