this theme and gimmick were so great. I remember when this angle was going on, Wrath and Mortis were completely over with everyone I knew who was into wrestling at the time. It worked well, unlike all Kanyon's other gimmicks. Even if this was some cheesy way to cash in on Mortal Kombat's fame, it worked. It fit his unique fighting style. Even Glacier was alright at first, but once Ernest miller was thrown into the angle, it all went to crap

Coming from one gay man, to another. Since i've been "watching" wrestling for nearly 20yrs now. Kanyon's music & gimmick portraying the character Mortis. Was without question his BEST during his career at least to me it was. And for a gay man he sure as shit got it done inside the ring! Hopefully his passion & dedication to the business will break the "stereotypes" of a gay man competing agressivly. And that's true in ANY sport one might decide to join. He was certainly a great "role model".

They borrowed from Mortal Kombat when they came up with the Glacier and Mortis gimmicks. Glacier looked like Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat 3, and Mortis was a combination of Scorpion and Reptile from various games in the series. Not Papa Shango.
