My Marine recruiter says that this additional week is accounted for as the 13th week of recruit training program but not really acknowledged by the official Marine Corps quite yet as the 13th week. Most people who graduate refer to this as the 13th week because of rigorous training.
I was a Navy Corpsman for 34 years, after 2 years as a 0321 (72-74). Joined the Navy Became a SARC. I have worked with most of NATO's special Operators, including ours. Hands down, the average Marine is as good or better. I would prefer to die in battle with my Marines, than to live in safety forever some where else. It is that simple.

My Marine recruiter says that this additional week is accounted for as the 13th week of recruit training program but not really acknowledged by the official Marine Corps quite yet as the 13th week. Most people who graduate refer to this as the 13th week because of rigorous training.

I was a Navy Corpsman for 34 years, after 2 years as a 0321 (72-74). Joined the Navy Became a SARC. I have worked with most of NATO's special Operators, including ours. Hands down, the average Marine is as good or better. I would prefer to die in battle with my Marines, than to live in safety forever some where else. It is that simple.
