Na, mage pots increase the max hit by 15% since you get 3% boost per level, and magic potion gives 5 levels.

The Ancient staff gives 10% damage boost...and since Ice Burst without any boosts gives 220 max hit, the max hit with Ancient Staff and Magic Potion is 275. I hope that helped. :)
