I don't think that there's time for hate or negativity in Mr. McDaniel's life. I've thought that about him since Run-DMC came on the scene. I don't think that there's any animosity between the surviving band members, though: We all grow and we collect so many more people that demand our time and love, if we're lucky, and your old friends are the one's who understand the demands on you leading to you seeing them less and less but knowing that if you need each other, they're there.
